"Poor overall"
Staff good but not enough of them to run the hotel effectively.
Hotel itself Poor, cracked toilet seat, fan in bathroom not working and tv picture terrible.
Cleanliness not the best.

"Okay stay dated hotel and staff hit and miss on friendliness"
Good location if you dont mind a quick train ride into Harrogate town ,about 3 mins on train just make sure its not a Race day at York racecourse or you have absolutely no chance of getting on train into Harrogate or back to Hornbeam park . This hotel is going through renovation which it absolutely needs . Restaurant and bar area is only modern and lovely part of hotel. Staff on night are very unhelpful and unfriendly. Room we where in was large but very dated. Shower pressure was hit and miss as was temperature of it. We where on 1st floor but I think we had baby elephants in room above as floor never stopped speaking could here every movement they made. Food at breakfast was okay not a lot of choice same for evening menu but was nice. Drinks expensive but expected that as it is Harrogate. Enjoyed experience but would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone. Bar staff where too busy reading a book and other one playing on phone to serve customers.

"Not very impressed"
I have always been pleased with premier plus rooms but not this time. The room needed an update and it could have done with a good clean. For what we paid I wasn't very impressed. The staff were friendly but we had to wait almost an hour for our food.

"Stayed at cleaner Premier Inns but nice staff"
Very peaceful stay, convenient for travelling by train.Staff very friendly and welcoming, although not enogh of them particularly during meal times.Nice buffet breakfast, although items missing on second morning, beans, mushrooms, yoghurt which is unacceptable as not cheap at over £11 pp.Staff very apologetic about this.Wasn't happy with cleanliness of hotel.Mould in bathroom, corners of room dusty and cobwebs.Tea/coffee not replenished.Felt a lot more basic than other Premier Inns we've stayed at, although it is under refurbishment.We would stay again due to nice staff and peaceful location but hopefully more staff will be employed.
