Thetford hotel

Good location for visiting Centre Parcs, warm and welcoming, staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, comfy and have everything you need. The restaurant let's it down abit though.

We stayed in late August for one night - we were greeted by a lovely member of the premier inn team who made us feel welcome and chatted to our two young children. We had a lovely room which was beautifully clean, nice and cool and set up for us all to stay. Check out was simple and again, the staff at the desk were fantastic. Our experience in the attached restaurant however was AWFUL. We had booked a meal deal, and called prior to our visit and booked a table. We arrived at 5pm for dinner and we met with a barrage of issues. A large part of the menu was unavailable, the staff were rude and unhelpful and the manager who was there that evening was rude and slightly aggressive when we raised issues. Our food took well over an hour and a half to arrive, in which time no member of staff came to check on us, or ask if we wanted more drinks. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were met with an appalling attitude and aggressive response to the simple question “could we please find out how long our meal is going to be”. We were told by the manager that “there had been 15 tables in so what EXACTLY would you like ME to do??” As regular users of premier inn and use the attached restaurants at every visit (which we always enjoy and praise), we have never encountered such attitude and issues. We will not be returning to this restaurant site again. Thank you to the staff in the premier inn who came and spoke to us and made us feel better (sorry I didn’t catch your name!)

Staff do their best, resigned to how poor the place is. Aircon doesn't work, half the menu not available. Pleasant as they can be.

No air conditioning, dirty floors and bathroom, no net curtains for privacy, not able to park in disabled bays no water or teabags available unless asked for, broken fridge etc

Average hotel. Noisy fans in room as no air conditioning. But what let it down was the restaurant. Lack of staff meant long waits for food took over an hour after ordering to get our starter. And the food quality was poor
