"Issues with accessible room"
Booked an accessible room for one night. Noticed there are absolutely no charger or sockets on the side of the room where the beds are so I would either have to leave my phone in charge the opposite side of the room or hope it doesn’t die in the night. This makes it very hard if I became ill, fell from my wheelchair or needed help and I wasn’t near one of the emergency pull cord’s. I could only get my wheelchair to one side of the bed as the other was pushed too close to the door, again if I wasn’t as strong upper body wise I wouldn’t have been able to get on or off the bed. The room is clean and the reception staff were very helpful but more consideration is needed for rooms classed as accessible rather than just putting a wet room in.

"Jules was perfect front of house"
Jules on reception was beyond accommodating, we’d come back again juts to see her! Well air conned rooms/restaurant and nothing was too much an ask!

"Avoid for the Forest Live shows"
We booked here as we were going to the Forest Live show. Price's inflated x4, even so, this is what happens each year. However, what doesn't happen each year is the bar manager telling us at 2.45pm that they aren't serving food until 6.30pm because they don't have enough staff. This was said even though food was being served to people already sitting down. 6.30pm is too late given we were going to the show. We had to drive out to each. On our return at 4.45pm people were still be served food. We even got an evil stare from the bar manager!
When complaining when checking into the hotel, we were told the resturant is a separate business and nothing to do with them, even though they asked us if we wanted a table, and there are menus in our room.
On our return from the gig at 10.45pm we were told the bar had shut at 10pm. This is their busiest day of the year!
Rooms have no AC unless you have the upgrade rooms. We had 2 noisy fans running all night.
It's a shame because we have been using this hotel for the past 15 years, but after this experience we won't be staying here again.

"Beware parking"
Hotel generally ok, rather worn in parts, but clean. Reception failed to record my car registration number, so Horizon charged me a penalty for it and rejected my evidence of hotel bill as evidence, despite listing it on their appeals page as valid evidence. Hadn’t stayed there before, won’t again.

"Lovely hotel and staff thank you"
I always stay at this hotel when I’m in the area to make this sort apart from the cost sometimes it put some of the higher class hotels to shame look forward to my next stay
