Norwich Airport hotel

We booked a one night stay to break a long journey, booked an accessible room but on arrival found it had a flashing main light which we found unacceptable. But Kareen on the reception was so helpful and was able to move us to another room which was very clean and adequate. The downside to arriving early now is the attached Beefeater restaurant is closed during the day and there is no facility to use the toilet until check-in time we found we had to use the MacDonalds next door. It is now £5 for 24 hours parking. We have stayed here many time because it is so close to the main ring road system and is very convenient for all the main attractions. Easy to get to Wroxham Broad and the east coast seaside resorts. An uber taxi cost us £11 into Norwich City Centre on a Sunday but the hotel is right next to a Park n Ride which operates Monday to Saturday

Great location and peaceful as we were visiting Bewilderwood so wanted to be nearby. All staff were very friendly and professional. Choices of food options are good all at great value. All the amenities you'd need for a short stay.

The lamp on the vanity unit had no bulb and after reception trying several bulbs it was determined that the lamp was broken. The vanity chair was badly stained. The next day after having a shower we couldn't turn it off and neither could the manageress who said they would get maintaince to come out. So we asked to be moved which she agreed to but we had to wait until the room was serviced. However the vanity lamp did not work either. The right hand window curtain would not open which was sorted. In view of these issues which were time consuming and inconvenient we feel a basic sorry is unacceptable. Won't be staying there again.

I was surprised to find that I had to pay for parking, room was good, evening dinner was a long wait from ordering, Breakfast was busy again queues for hot drinks as only one machine available

Positives: Car park spacious enough with £5 per 24hrs charge. Comfortable bed. Early check in available. Negatives: Not worth the price. We paid for early check in and had requested a cot bed as travelling with 18month old. Upon arrival there was no one at reception so we rang the bell as advised on a note. After a short wait and as kid was crying we rang fee more times and after more waiting (5-10min) a woman appeared. Instead of “sorry for the delay. Thanks for waiting.” We basically got told us off for ringing more than one time on the bell stating that regardless of how many times we ring she won’t come quicker (mind that there is no way for customer to see if the ring has been acknowledged by anyone). Then we were given room quite far from reception, so I’d recommend if you have a small kid and luggage to book accessible room as there are no lifts. When we got to the room there was no cot provided despite of it being requested upon booking. We wanted to call reception but then realised there was no phone in the room to do so…probably for the better so we don’t inconvenience the reception lady again. Overall disappointing experience for £130 considering the outdated rooms and not fulfilling booking requests. The rest of the staff we encountered were quite lovely.
