      "Overnight stay"
Staff very welcoming Bed comfy and a fan in the room was a bonus. Only stayed overnight to visit family but will definitely stay again
      "Go somewhere else."
We stayed for three nights, and from the moment we pulled into the car park, we had an inkling of what was to come. The exterior of the building appeared quite dilapidated and in need of repair. Our room was tidy, but it had a noticeable stale odour. There was visible mould around the edges of the bath, which was hard to miss and suggests that the cleaning staff may be overlooking it. Additionally, there was a packet of tissues left behind the toilet rather than being placed in the dispenser. The room was uncomfortably hot with little to no ventilation. Although we were provided with a fan, it unfortunately made little difference. We visited the on-site bar but found it understaffed, with a limited selection of drinks. We were informed that food would not be served as the kitchen was deemed too hot to operate—despite it being only 25 degrees, hardly a heatwave. The kitchen remained closed each night of our stay, and on one evening, the entire bar was shut by what couldn't have been later than 10pm. I would recommend visiting the pub across the roundabout—possibly called The Devon Gate—as an alternative. We attempted breakfast on three occasions, but were consistently met with a lack of basic condiments and substandard cooking. I would strongly recommend some remedial training for the kitchen staff, as we were served undercooked sausages and bacon on more than one occasion.
      "Brilliant staff"
Amazing staff especially Anne and Chris at breakfast - kind and very patient with my kids whilst they took forever to decide on what they want for breakfast - also the restaurant was clean and well run - Dan the chef did a great job with the fry ups! Hotel itself is tired and needs some love and the WiFi isn’t up to the job but the staff throughout are excellent
      "Good chefs here"
Quality staff and food. Can't go wrong 👌 Fill your belly and get a good night's sleep. I would recommend the mixed grill and nachos.
      "Friendly staff, tired accommodation "
Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms very tired and need updating, had to clear cobwebs found in room, bathroom very small. Don't recommend the Glegg Inn food was substandard. Make sure you enter your registration number on arrival, plenty of parking.
