    "Bleak stay"
Having just returned from a 3 night break at this hotel, I never expected I would be writing such a poor review for a Premier hotel, as having stayed in many over the years and rating all so very high, to arrive at this one with it’s unkempt garden area, buildings in much need of a coat of fresh paint, windows dirty. Reception area unmanned, rang the bell twice eventually a receptionist arrived. Quick and to the point we were given our room cards. Steep stairs lead upto the 1st floor. My daughter and I had a room each. First impression small, dark- grim. Tall bed, obviously drawers had been removed. I put my slippers on, I didn’t feel that the carpet was clean. The tv on the wall on the right side of the room, fortunately could be adjusted to pull out a little way so that I didn’t twist my neck too much whilst watching in the evening. Not really in a convenient space. Chipped side table next to the double bed, chipped table. Kettle, enough tea, coffee and milks for two cups. So if more required, there were sachets in reception. Small bathroom , clean, over bath shower which was easy to use , slippy bath, no mat to stand on - be careful. As only me in the room, I used one of the coffee/tea cups to stand my toothbrush/toothpaste. Bed: flat pillows, bedding didn’t smell or feel fresh. Very disappointing as this isn’t normally how I find premier sleep range to be. Second night was noisy with adults talking loudly. Made our way for breakfast , found the room without being signposted by the receptionist on arrival!. However we were asked what time we wanted to have breakfast. Couldn’t just decide on the morning and arrive at our leisure.? I have continental, my daughter full English. Very ice cold yogurt, strawberry and berry fruits . Far too cold to enjoy. Full English served on day one, other two days self serve. Very good - no tinned tomatoes.(as per my daughter) , and did look good and fresh . A very nice dining room , plenty of tables and no annoying music in the back ground. Would certainly never return to this premier again.
    "Great room, great staff here"
I went to this Premier Inn for a funeral. The staff were extremely friendly, very helpful, disabled parking not too far from the entrance and ramps on the paving too. They have accessible rooms for disabled people, I had a wet room, I was in a lot of pain and a lady working there took my bags when I was looking for my room, for which I was extremely grateful for her help. Full buffet style breakfast was available with fresh things being cooked, I just had toast, croissant very nice. My room was great for what I needed the bed was the biggest I've ever slept in. I'd definitely go there again.
"5* based on what you should expect of that price point."
5* based on what you're paying and what you should expect. Staff were excellent, particularly the reception staff at evening check in. Rooms were clean and comfortable- really good value, breakfast likewise.
    "Two members of staff"
This review is for two members of staff that made my stay worth every penny and more. Me and my partner stayed for two nights and received the best service we have had in any previous hotel we have stayed at. Matt who greeted us at check-in was everything you would want in an employee… He was well mannered, had a smile on his face and made you feel welcome. During are stay he went above and beyond to cater not only to us but everyone else staying in the hotel. Nothing was to much for him and at one point I had to ask if he had a twin working. Matt was everywhere from greeting you, serving you your meal and drinks, putting out fresh bedding even carrying luggage to people’s rooms. If you ever stay here I hope that you meet this gentleman he will make your stay as best as he can to his capabilities. Thank you Matt you are a credit to this company. Jane I believe took over from Matt as night staff. I did not have many encounters with her as it was late, but what short encounters I did I couldn’t ask for more. Her welcoming smile and how professional she dealt with an issue I had one night was incredible. She took the time out of her shift to speak and listen to me and do everything she could to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I can’t say much more about Jane but I believe if I had met her working in the day I would have more to say and she would have excelled like Matt did. I thank you both and I do hope your company read this review and know what an asset you are to them. Ashley and Kay from Prestatyn
"Tired but friendly and well located"
Sadly not our best stay at a Premier Inn. Whole place needs a refresh. Breakfast not up to standard but staff friendly and trying their best
