"Too Hot For Sleeping"
I always write that Premier Inn’s are my “go to hotel” in the uk. They offer a good standard and I like the uniformity so you know what you are getting.
We stayed here for a few days while having a city break in Liverpool. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room and bathroom generally clean. We did notice an empty coke can down the side of the sofa bed and when we pulled out the sofa to remove it found a large amount of dust; vacuuming having clearly just been done around the furniture.
Unfortunately during a heatwave, the room was far too hot for sleeping. There was no air conditioning and the fan in the room merely moved hot air around. The temperature was 26.5 degrees.
We tried pointing the fan towards the bed but one evening our feet got a little cold and we took the duvet out to put on the bed. However, it had no cover on and was stained. We mentioned this at reception and the bed was made up with duvet and cover but the top sheet removed, leaving us with either a heavy duvet on or nothing.
Management please note: it would be more hygienic to store duvets with a cover on or in a bag while not in use.
We like Premier Inn’s and I would like to give this one a higher rating but sadly the extreme heat in the room ruined our sleep.

"Ripped off by scam"
Charged for breakfast twice on 2 days. Paid upfront then our card on file was also charged without our authorisation. Having to fight to get the money back head office have said there is no record of the first transaction. It feels like a scam being run at this hotel be warned.

"Super comfortable bed and pillows."
Great location for us near my family. Always a great welcome. Super comfortable bed and pillows as we always get. We both enjoyed the breakfast choice and even though it was busy we were seated quickly and didn't wait too long for our breakfast.

"Good hotel but could be better"
Great hotel with ample parking and friendly staff. Unfortunately the hotel has no AC, no lift, and also has a rat problem in the car park. We did notice that the outside of the hotel looks a bit overgrown and not looking its best.
We arrived as a group of seven and the reception staff were excellent. Whilst waiting for a taxi outside we witnessed rats in the car park. I see this has been mentioned many times before.
Our room were clean and tidy but this hotel had no AC (rare heatwave conditions and it’s very petty to complain but other premier inns we have used have had AC)
Easy to access city centre from hotel. Rooms clean and beds comfy. We didn’t pay much for our stay so can’t really be too picky about it.
Would stay again as staff and location make it a good option.
