Liverpool (Tarbock) hotel

On entering the car park, there was quite a lot of building work going on, but thankfully this didn’t affect our stay at all. John on reception was lovely and had such a warm and welcoming manner. When we ordered dinner, I asked if it would be possible to take it to our room. John and Joanne were both incredibly helpful and arranged for it to be delivered at the time we requested — excellent service! The following morning we went down for breakfast, and once again all the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. And guess what? John was cooking our breakfast too! I had to joke, “Do you sleep here?” 😂 We had a lovely stay! Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff really made us feel welcome. A special thank you to John, Joanne and the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable! The only negative was the remote control for the TV could have been cleaned! Would definitely stay again! ❤️

What a team of beautiful people. So helpful. The hotel is immaculate and the staff's work in maintaining it is excellent. I would 100 % recommend this hotel. 👌

The staff here are exceptional and truly understand customer service. I’ve stayed in one of the accessible rooms a few times over recent weeks, my only gripe being the lack of walk in shower. The staff are welcoming and helpful, I walk with a wheeled walker and they always, without me having to ask, hold the doors open for me. On my most recent visit I was able to enjoy breakfast as the staff on duty took my order and delivered it to my table, it’s impossible for me to walk and carry a plate! The rooms I’ve had, whilst fairly compact are always clean and have windows which can be opened (restrictor in place). There’s also I fan which was useful on a hot night. Very handy location for motorway access and reasonable room rates especially on a Sunday. Some renovations taking place which make the exterior look shabby but it’s what inside which counts! They couldn't find booking. Room smelt musty and of cigarettes. Clean bathroom. No bar. 'Restaurant and entrance lobby smelled of cooking fat. Free parking.
