    "Lack of sleep very hot in room"
    The hottest year No fans in room lift broken on the Friday of the Saturday we arrived still broke on departure Monday Two bad nights sleep because of hot room windows open no fan pub locals shouting and sitting under windows though to the early hours
    "Incredibly hot rooms"
    Typically I don’t write reviews for hotels like Premier Inn’s as you generally get a set standard. This one though fell below our expectations. Although we’ve stayed during a heatwave and the hotel does promote not having air con, I just had to express how uncomfortably hot the rooms were. No fans provided. Windows only open a slither due to safety regulations. All whilst 2 adults and 2 kids are cramped in a small room. I expected that they would at least provide fans or perhaps have the decency to offer residents bottled water. It was an incredibly poor stay and not one we’d ever return to.
    "Filthy Restaurant Carpet"
    The carpet in the breakfast restaurant was absolutely filthy & should have been replaced years ago. My feet kept sticking to it!
    "Would stay here again"
    We stayed here overnight before our trip to Knowsley Safari Park. The Premier Inn room itself was standard really - not the best I’ve ever stayed in, it needed updating but it was clean and comfortable. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evening but we had the breakfast in the morning and it was outstanding. The service was fantastic - you help yourself to cereal, toast, pastries etc and table service for the cooked breakfast. Everything was delicious, hot and served in reasonable time. Would stay here again.
    "average and disappointed stay"
    I will start with the positive that the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately the room we were given was only slightly cooler than sleeping in an oven. Even with the windows open it was very warm, no a/c and no fans given making it an uncomfortable nights sleep. The bed though was comfortable and the room a good size but was let down with cob webs and dust in every corner of the room. The shower had black mould in the corners and overall poor cleanliness. I won’t even start on the restaurant attached to the hotel, all I would say is go somewhere else for dinner.

    Hotel description

    Premier Inn Hotel Liverpool (Roby) is a great looking building with architecture dating back to 1840. We're set in our own grounds with a large garden for you to relax in, and there are excellent transport links into the centre of Liverpool, perfect for business or pleasure. City of culture, home to two iconic football clubs, and the place where British pop music began. There's so much that's unique about Liverpool. If you're here in September, don't miss the Liverpool International Music Festival. When the music's over, come back to the hotel for some great food at our Table Table restaurant and a lovely comfy bed.
