Liverpool North hotel

The restaurant food was poor quality. Kids chucked was undercooked. They returned with a new meal and it was still undercooked.

Myself and my family and friends were attending an event at Newsham Orphanage and Hospital. We decided to book a Premier Inn that wasn't in the middle of the city. So we booked in for 1 night and decided to have the Meal Deal, which included dinner and breakfast. My daughter ordered her starter, chicken wings and ended up leaving 70% of it because they were awful. Too much sauce, and the meat was practically non existent. Then she ordered the ribs. Which again, she ended up leaving it because they were so dry, and the sauce was disgusting. I got my main of chicken makhani. When it arrived I was shocked to see only four lpieces of chicken in over half a pint of watery sauce. The rice was undercooked and nearly cold. When I complained to the waitress she apologised for the lack of meat, but said the meal comes pre-portioned and there was nothing she could do other than cook me a chicken breast. I declined the offer because by the time they had pinged the breast my meal would have been cold, which would have needed pinging in the microwave (which is all they do really. They are not chefs. They are professional 'pingers'. My friend ended up with chicken wings instead of spring rolls.!!! All in all a very disappointing experience and I know we will NEVER use BEEFEATER again. I feel for the staff because they take the brunt of customer complaints and I expect some customers become vocal with their complaints. My friends and I went to our event, which didn't finish till 4am, very hungry. As I said before we will avoid any Premier Inn that has a BEEFEATER for its restaurant.

Very good service all round, especially Paula and Tom in the bar/restaurant.

Stopped in at the bar and Tom looked after us with a friendly reception and poured a cracking pint of Guinness. Cheers!
