Liverpool City Centre (Albert Dock) hotel

Tired/dated and so noisy! The sound of the floorboards in the hall is absolutely horrendous! You can hear every creak and step. The rooms look tired and need a revamp. Shower pressure was awful and the smell in the room you leave your luggage was horrendous!

I chose this hotel because of its location near the things we wanted to do and see in Liverpool. The bed and bathroom were clean, and there was sufficient shelving and surface space for our stuff. The staff we dealt with were all pleasant. However, the place could do with a refresh. The carpet and curtains in the room were tired-looking, and the curtains wouldn’t close completely. In fairness, I did not report this to the hotel; we just made do. We had a nice view of the River Mersey, but the window was incredibly dirty. Our room overlooked the main entrance to Albert Dock, so it got a little noisy at times with commercial traffic and general revelry, though it eventually quieted. We did have a breakfast (extra charge) in the restaurant; there were several options and the food was quite tasty. Overall, this Premier Inn was okay, but I was expecting the interior to be a little fresher.

beautiful building but the hotel is very run down and need of a refurb, all element from the bedroom, bathroom and the public bar are all very run down. The hotel was a very nice premier inn a few years ago but not anymore.

We loved the location, room was very clean & comfortable. Also very quiet for the majority of evenings/night (but with the exception of late returning guests on same floor which isn’t the fault of hotel (consideration towards others doesn’t cost anything!) We were on 4th floor & WiFi was very poor in our room.
