"Disappointing Stay – Noisy, Tired Rooms and Poor Service."
I stayed at the Premier Inn Liverpool City Centre (Albert Dock) for three nights on a business trip and unfortunately, it was a very poor experience from start to finish. The room itself was extremely basic and the walls were paper thin — I could hear every word and movement from neighbouring rooms. The first night, two guests partied until 6am, and the following night a couple continued until around 4am. I barely slept for two nights running. This was made worse by ongoing building works directly outside, which I wasn’t informed about until check-in — far too late to make alternative arrangements. My room was positioned above the main entrance, meaning I couldn’t open the curtains without people being able to see straight in. The constant noise from guests coming and going through the entrance door was relentless. Service in the bar and restaurant was particularly poor on the second night. Only one member of staff was on duty, taking orders, serving drinks, and delivering food. She was doing her absolute best under impossible pressure and deserves credit, but guests were waiting a long time and many simply left. Breakfast was basic and uninspiring. The scrambled eggs were runny and waterlogged, and overall, it didn’t feel worth the extra cost. The bathroom had a strong, unpleasant smell that didn’t improve over the stay, and the room had only two plug sockets — none near the bed, which made charging devices awkward. Overall, this stay was disappointing. Between the noise, building works, tired facilities, and poor service, I would not stay here again or recommend it for business or leisure.
    "Theatre trip"
Return visit for a theatre trip with some girlfriends. All round good visit but still some improvements needed especially staffing levels. Room was spotless but windows were filthy. Mo on reception was extremely polite and chatty. We booked the meal deal so had evening meal and breakfast. Extremely slow at evening time for waiting on food and drinks. Had to look round for staff to be served at the bar! Breakfast was excellent, buffet fully stocked and plentiful and very tasty. Chris on breakfast was very helpful and polite. Overall would definitely come back and stay
"more staff needed, including a window cleaner"
Stayed for 2 nights, as a regular Premier Inn customer, I noticed the low staff levels here, lots of waiting around in reception area and the bar/restaurant. Breakfast very good. Dinner was good value, but service very slow. Great location for sight seeing and using the hop on hop off bus for getting around. Panam bar/restaurant next door was very good. My advice would be to not pay the extra £30 per night for a room with a view, the windows are so dirty the view is spoilt!
"Love Premier inn for weekends away but wouldn’t stay at this one again"
Good atmosphere and location. But rooms were cold, dirty and need a refresh. Dirty bath, no safety chain on door, dust built up in both rooms
    "Over night stay"
A good choice of hotel for having an over night stay in Liverpool. Allowed us to explore the City and be close to the hotel. Worth paying extra couple of pound to have the view of the Albert Docks especially for the nighttime view. Breakfast was well stocked at a time that was meant to be busy. Would definitely stay again on our next visit.
