Spent 2 nights here. Very convenient for wedding in Wirral. Special thank you to Stacey for her warm welcome and determination to get us the best meal deal. Quick to learn our names and cheerful throughout despite 5 consecutive duties due to short staff.

"Very disappointing"
This used to be a great hotel. Not anymore.
Now, there is no proper welcome. Just an automated check-in.
Our room was a far cry from the usual standard. Hooks had come adrift on the main curtain and shower curtain. I spotted this immediately and put it right in a matter of seconds, so why hadn't the staff?
There was no deal on the bag containing the extra pillows. Little surprise that they were dirty (see photos). The toilet seat was very loose, and when I touched the lid, it came off its fixing(see photos).
All in all, very disappointing. They're area plenty of other hotels nearby. Perhaps we'll try somewhere else for our next visit.

Excellent service and help from Sharon in the restaurant at breakfast, she was so friendly and kind, and when we left and accidentally left an item behind, she rushed out to the car park to hand it back to us. Even when really busy. Thanks so much, Sharon!

"Dated, dirty, poor experience for price."
Would avoid. Quite dated and dirty in the bathroom, sink blocked with unknown matter and stains around the toilet. Towel holder was lying on the floor as it had fallen off the door. Shower was not usable due to temperature and pressure fluctuating. TV in bedroom was smaller than a PC monitor so was next to useless. All the doors in the corridors slammed throughout the stay/night. The bedsheets has not been put on the beds properly so we had to redo ourselves. Icing on the cake was being blocked in by their linen delivery truck when trying to leave.

"Breakfast stop after the overnight boat"
We stopped here for breakfast after the overnight boat from Liverpool. Friendly welcoming staff greeted us and the usual Premier Inn breakfast was available.
Would defiantly visit again if we did the overnight boat. Sets you up for your onward travel.
