"Friendly and welcoming staff made the stay brilliant"
We had a lovely stay at the Premier Inn in Birkenhead. The staff were just so friendly - all looking to go the extra mile, Stacey in particular. The room was quiet and beautifully clean and it was very conveniently located for both Birkenhead train stations. The only downside was the price - the Saturday was extortionate but there were various events going on that dictated that.

Travelling for a memorial for my sister in law - room was so unclean and felt unsafe that we slept in the car (3 adults - husband, myself and daughter — in a welcome break carpark)
The room was dusty from the light bulb, to a thick wall of dust, handprint on headboard, dust think on crevice of headboard, snotters on wall, ceiling tiles lifting, scuffs, air conditioner or fan full of dust.
And that’s after 4 locked doors to get to your room… this really makes you feel safe in premier inn in Birkenhead or in Birkenhead in general.
Already an emotional trip - 8 hours of travel to arrive and have to leave and be out £100 because it wasn’t worth £100 a night.
A car was a better option, since we had arrived after 6pm!
