"Cleaners"
Got to the room in premer inn Hotel Skegness and the single bed was not made no toilet roll only one set of towels and no tea or coffee when I went back to the car I went past one of the bedrooms and two cleaners was chatting not in the cere in the world witch made me cross as our room was not finished but bless the lady on reception she was so helpful and we did not have to pay for breakfast so thank you to her and the cleaners need to get there act together
"Worst experience ever"
Having stayed here previously and had a really good experience we decided to come again, but this time was a totally different experience. On arrival the staff were very friendly, but upon entering our room the experience was ruined …. The room smelt unpleasant, the the room only had ONE bedside table , we also only had ONE chair and there was 2 of us. We were expected to use the pull out bed for seating even that was uncomfortable… ie springs were poking through and very worn, the whole room looked very tired , considering the cost of the room we felt very let down overall. Even the bathroom experience was poor.. no extraction fan resulting in the bathroom looking like you was auditioning for stars in your eyes after a minute or so of the shower being on, making it difficult to see what you were doing . When asked if we could be swapped into another room, we were told that there were no other rooms available due to being fully booked
"Possibly the worst Premier Inn I've stayed at"
Knowing Premier Inn, I booked this hotel as a "safe place to stay" when visiting the Skegness area. Parking was fine and £4 for 24 hours not extortionate. Reception was friendly, I had upgraded the room with the options of sea view and Premier plus. When we got the the room small things started to spoil the visit before it had started. There was a funny smell in the room, there was a air purifying unit in the room (which was collected ten minutes after our arrival). The bed had a dent in the bottom part of the duvet (as if someone had been sat on it and not smoothed it over again) - not obligatory purple runner at the bottom of the bed either. The rooms waste bin had an empty crisp packet in it. The bathroom toilet (seat cover down) had been used (by someone prior it our arrival) as the water was yellow and there was a sheet of toilet paper in it unflushed. None of these things made me rush to reception and demand a room change but it made us more aware. We did comment to the receptionist that it appeared the room hadn't been cleaned completely but were told it had been cleaned the day before our visit and unoccupied the night before so should have had a second check over the morning before our arrival. During our stay we started to notice things like a strange smell from the bed linen, dust (weeks rather than days of it) at the side of the fridge (which worked very well) The carpet having stains. The "seaview" being a sea glimpse (if you stood at the right angle of the small window). The bed was the first Premier Inn bed I've slept in which was uncomfortable. I have stayed in many Premier Inn's and to say this one is pretty new it's the worst I've stayed in and wouldn't stay again.
"Good stay and great"
Staff very friendly and helpful Nice room Clean, with Air con Was lovely Car Park not overly priced Great location to stay in Skegness
"1 nIght stop."
A convent comfortable 1 night stopover after a hectic Seaside Day Out with 3 year old on the ride. Loads of space to park. £4 for 24 hours parking was an absolute bargain. As was the £11 continental breakfast and Free for kids. A Great Stay. And because of placement of the Hotel soooooo easy to get around the Front or a short hop on bus or in the car to go the Fantasy Island.
