"The Premier inn customer is never right"
I have always stayed at different Premier Inns over many years go to the Skegness premier inn several times a year with not any problems, But my last visit to Skegness in July 4 hours before check in I had a phone call to say my Premier plus room was unavailable but could offer me a standard room I did not accept this room I said I wanted room with a fridge, They said do I want to cancel they didn't ask me if I wanted to amend my booking to another date.
I went onto my booking as I had about a couple of hours to amend my booking before 1pm but found my room was cancelled by Skegness premier inn which cost me £148.
I got in touch with Skegness Hotel by email but no reply so I sent X2 forms to customer service they said they had offered me a premier plus room which they didn't,
Why would they phone me up to say my Premier plus room was unavailable to offer me another premier plus room what a load of rubbish I didn't cancel the room,
Customer service was not helpful whatsoever there purpose is the customer is never right it looks like the end of Premier Inns for me they cancelled the booking not me lost me £148

"Cleanliness"
Arrived and had already checked in online. Went to scan barcode to be told not working till 3pm. Reception staff were rude and spoke over you. Went to room had early check in. So if you want early check at an extra £15 don’t expect a clean room. Floor had not been hoovered. Not enough towels in the room. Stained bedding and quilt. Hair all in the bathroom.Look like they had just set up 2 extra beds and forgot the rest. Had to ask for the room to be hoovered and extra towel. Bedding wasn’t notice till 2nd day as we were out all the time. One of the children’s beds you could feel the springs. This is far from a premier inn standards. Even the corridors were never hoovered. It was a dirty hotel. Check your bedding on day one. Premier you should be ashamed.

"There's nothing premier at the premier inn."
What a sack of xxxx.
Three rooms booked.
Two not ready for check in.
Ours you feel like you're on a roller coaster on the toilet, not tied down to the floor. We are staying one night but the maintainer won't be there until tomorrow.
Next room is boiling and you cant turn the air con down. Plus they said we've upgraded you from a twin to a double.
We booked a twin for a reason.
Third room isn't clean, kids toy left in the room, hasn't been dusted down, amongst other things.
Then another couple went to check in at 4pm whilst we were moaning and their room wasn't ready.
So on the whole we would have been better booking faulty towers.

"Awful. Just awful. Avoid if you have accesibility needs"
We booked an accessible room and it was awful. Not only was it dirty but it was just awful, accessibility-wise. The wet room was truly, truly the worst i've ever encountered in a hotel. The entire thing felt like a biohazard. The corner with the shower had loads of mold and mildew (i actually bought my own cleaning supplies to clean it) and the shower chair was grim. It had rust and mildew all over it. The rails would not stay up to allow my mum to maneuver into the shower. There was also nowhere for her to put her products that was within reaching distance as she can't keep standing up as she is a barely ambulant wheelchair user (hence the need for an accessible room). This resulted in her having to give up some of her dignity and have me in the bathroom with her to hand her things which was then compounded by the fact that there was ONLY ONE SHOWER CURTAIN (despire there being hooks for another one) so she was mostly exposed to the room. I had to literally stand facing the corner. They were also only knee length which resulted in the entire room getting soaked whenever one of us showered. I have a wet room in my house so I know for a fact that you can easily have full length, or at worst almost full length, curtains just as easily as the single monstrosity you provided us with.
The beds were okay but the floor was covered, and I do mean covered, in thick dust between the beds. Now the room wasn't ready for our pre-requested early check-in as they had got their wires crossed and had us as a double bed not twin singles so the beds had to be hastily separated but that doesn't make it okay as the full floor should be hoovered regularly?!
We were also only provided with one large towel and received an eye roll when I requested more.
The door to the bathroom was also horrendous. It had no lower runner so could be quite literally pulled away from the frame to a good 30° angle. It was extremely heavy and stiff, with a chunk of metal sticking out of the upper lintel which meant that my mum couldn't close the door flush to the frame. This is totally unnecessary as if the door was on good runners, she could have very easily slid it open. The door also didn't open fully wide without some real physical effort so she couldn't go into the wet room herself without me going and yanking the door open and closed for her.
Considering that we spent £945 for our stay we feel beyond ripped off and will never be staying at this location ever again. Quite frankly, i'd be amazed if we ever use the company again.
