"Not great"
Depressing hotel on a shopping park.
Miserable welcome, asked us if we wanted to book a table but declined as we were at a wedding. I later found out this was for a breakfast table.
Requested to arrive a little early and wanted £15 when we only wanted to turn up 45 minutes early.
Rooms were hellishly hot but at least there was a fan to blow round the hot air. The temperature in the room when we got up was 26. Rooms are very basic and views are of buildings and car park.
Breakfast was a shambles, unable to keep up with the demand, we asked for poached eggs and 20 minutes later some hard rocks once resembling eggs arrived.
Go elsewhere.

"The Room Was Like an Oven – Staff Did Their Best"
I stayed at a standard Premier Inn (not a Premier Inn Plus), and the room was simply too hot to be comfortable. The temperature in the room was 29 C, and the window only opened a few centimetres, so there wasn’t a fresh air coming into the room at all all night. With no air conditioning and no proper ventilation, it was extremely difficult to sleep. The fan was not good at all.
I also felt sorry for the receptionist. She had three fans blowing on her amd still can’t feel air movement, so weak. The reception area felt even hotter—probably close to 40°C. The staff were clearly doing their best, but the building is not equipped to cope with hot weather. It is dangerously hot, some people may have heat stroke.
I believe Premier Inn should improve ventilation in these hotels by installing air conditioning, providing portable air conditioning units during heatwaves, or allowing windows to open more safely. As it stands, the conditions are not acceptable during the summer, and I would not recommend staying in a standard Premier Inn without air conditioning when the weather is hot.

"Outdated, Overpriced."
This Hotel would of been Outdated in 1999. Clear Modern features lacking when compared to places like Holiday Inn.
Good room space but that was the only upside.
There was no Aircon this I can somewhat excuse but other Premier Inns have A/C. In summer this makes the sleeping aspect very uncomfortable. The poor cleaning Staff were dripping in sweat but apparently Staff comfort isn't considered either.
There was no safe to put belongings, or a fridge to store drinks.
The wardrobe i use that term loosely looked more like a pop up idea.
The reality is they say this is a budget hotel but it's no cheaper then an Holiday Inn which is simply a better Hotel.
I was staying for a wedding so had to be there if I didn't id of checked myself out inside of 10 mins of being there.

"Highly recommended"
The two Sonias were very welcoming and made us feel very much at home. Highly recommended. In fact me and my friend put a ditty together:
We drove into town in the afternoon sun,
Ready to settle and have some fun.
At the Premier Inn, oh, the welcome was grand,
With two lovely Sonias on deck and on hand!
They sorted our keys with a smile and a cheer,
The very best check-in we’ve found far or near.
So here’s to the Sonias, the queens of the desk,
Making our stay in Scunthorpe picture-esque!
