Scunthorpe hotel

Good points first. Staff here very friendly from Checking in to Checking out. Room very spacious and clean. Breakfast was very nice, in a nice restaurant. Bad points. Room never had any usb sockets on the plug sockets. Shower was over the bath which made it a challenge to get in and out of. No slip mat in the bath, so had to be careful. No beakers in the bathroom . Only two coffee sachets available. Strange arrangement for recycling rubbish, as instructed to leave it by the bin. The room was also by an exit door, so we was disturbed ,while guests were going in and out. We did make a member of staff aware of these points, and altough she was very friendly, and explained that other rooms did have usb sockets and walk in showers, and we should have asked for a quiet room should we book again. So this was also disappointing, as l thought Premier Inn , prides it self on quiet rooms. Also the hotel did not seem full, so it would have been better if we were allocated a better room from the beginning.

I loved staying here. It’s a no-frills Premier Inn but the difference is the fabulous team that are here to make the guests stay an enjoyable experience. A wonderful one night stay and Sonia B went the extra mile by leaving a gift and handwritten note in both our rooms! The food and the service at the restaurant was excellent. Highly Recommended!

Stayed here the weekend of 26th September for 2 nights. The stay in general was great, rooms nice and the double bed was really comfortable. I ate at the restaurant next door everyday, the gentleman called stuart was nice professional and polite. The ladies at the reception and restaurant were really lovely too Downsides I found the quilt to be too thick and would of been nice to be able to change to a thinner one. On the Friday evening I went to the bar to chill out and have a drink before bed. I purchased a drink but had to pop out to my room briefly and came back and got my drink that I'd had put behind the bar. At this point there was me and one other customer. Most staff left and at 9.45pm the music was suddenly stopped midway through a song and nothing else played so I tool this as a hint to drink up and leave even though the bar was meant to be open until 11pm

i had an amazing stay at the hotel were I was welcomed by Kerrie who was always smiling.
