"Not suitable for a business stay"
Room noisy, can hear everything in next room. Water out if tap is undrinkable. Wifi is unusable. In a posiitve the docr and cleanliness is good
"Nights stay to attend a concert"
Excellent size and very clean room, bed was comfy too. Free WiFi wasn't great though, speed was too slow to even play a game so I just used data. Only 2 teabags too which I was a little disappointed but overall it was lovely, warm and inviting and perfect for where we were going.
"Weekend stay was noisy"
Great location for the whole of Lincoln. 5 mins to Brayford Pool eateries and 10 mins to steep hill etc Premier Plus room level 4 - Room clean However… we stayed Fr & Sat. Both nights loud music can be heard into the night. Friday till midnight and Saturday until 3am. I am a lightish sleeper but it was ridiculous how loud it was. Cathedral view was not worth the awful nights sleep
"A comfortable stay, let down by IT and mould in bathroom"
The person staffing reception was very helpful in sorting out the chaos when six groups arrived at check-in only to find out that all the self-service check-in screens weren't working, and found a solution involving manually-issued passcards. The room was comfortable, but let down by the bathroom where there was mould growing (in the silicone) behind the bathtaps - obviously hadn't seen bleach for a while - and the cryptic washbasin tap where the white dot indicates hot water, and the other white dot indicates cold (!)
"Travelling Home on Bus to get some food!"
Arrived to find restaurant closed at 7pm. Stood at bar, restaurant lady told bar staff to serve table order. Leaving him with a choice, ignore customers or follow order. He chose to ignore customer, not his fault and he did later acknowledge me. Lady, who appeared to be the only member off staff, could not accommodate a table of three due to a large party (apparently 13 is deemed to be a large party). Best on offer 8.20, meaning 9pm before food. Seems to be a chronic staff shortage on this evening and the service offered by Premier Inn well below what ever I have experienced in 30 years of using the brand. Come on management ensure you have staff to accommodate the business you take on, you sold the package you should be able to deliver it. On previous occasions I have stayed at Premier Inn they have rang to advise if the restaurant is busy…. Probably a bad day and a stressed member of staff but it was poor.
