"Not the best. Needs updating or tlc."
General look outside was nice. When checking in the receptionist did not book us in for breakfast like the previous person. We had to tell her to book us in. The hallway carpet was stained and threadbare near all rooms. Our sink was cracked, bathroom door was pealing and damaged on the bottom, the desk was damaged and had the coating pealing away. Cool blower was not working correctly. So room was very hot. Breakfast in the beef eater was not up to standard. I've had better at other premier inns. Bed was comfy and location was quiet.
"Comfortable and so convenient for the International Bomber Command Centre"
We often stay at this Premier Inn as it is so convenient for the International Bomber Command Centre. As one of the older sites, it doesn't have its own restaurant/bar or a lift. But in other respects it's fine. Clean and comfortable, especially if you opt (as we did on this occasion) for a Premier Plus room. On the whole, we had a very pleasant stay. Rooms are only cleaned on request, and unfortunately ours did not make it to the housekeeping team, necessitating a trip to reception for clean towels and hospitality supplies. But staff are willing and friendly making this a nice place to stay. The adjacent Mill Lodge Beefeater is available for breakfast, lunch and evening meals with a well-stocked bar and outside tables.
"Excellent customer service"
I had organised a group booking - they were excellent in accommodating our group from start to finish. The staff in reception and in the restaurant were excellent. many in my group praised the staff to me and also the comfort of the beds
"Premier Inn"
We spent two nights here. The rooms were as you would expect thought the bathroom could benefit from an upgrade. We slept well and there was aircon which was a godsend. The Beefeater next door was a let down - fortunately we hadn’t booked the meal deal. The outside looked run down but we went in as we arrived at the hotel too early to check in. There was a note on the door saying that there was no draught beer and bottled was running low. We left and went elsewhere. Later that evening my husband did venture across and the staff were so fed up. It had been 3 weeks with virtually no beer. Not good enough Whitbred.

Definitely not the worst hotel we've stayed in but not the best. Location was good and only a short ride in an Uber into Lincoln centre. Loads of parking and nice scenery around. This hotel isn't one of the upgraded hotels but really needs to be. However it was clean and rooms big. Excellent bed though as usual. Tbh our ground floor room did smell musty on entering every time. Unfortunately doesn't have its own restaurant but you have to use the Beefeater right opposite which is definitely not the cleanest . Food debris all over the table from breakfast time and this was 3pm! Staff not at all friendly and because we complained about the mess I felt we were targeted by the staff as difficult customers. They were hostile even the next morning for breakfast and were actually rude to one of the group.
