      "Reasonable hotel. Poor restaurant"
      Hotel is fine . Normal premier inn. However it has no air conditioning so if it’s hot you will sweat buckets! 35 degrees in our room. They supply a fan yet restrict windows to opening 3 inches! If your staying in winter I guess it’s better The food option brewers Fayre. Well the breakfast is good as it’s all buffet. Can’t complain . Evening meal however.. the food is as good as any of these places, however the service 🤦‍♂️. Awful , dismal. Non existent! To have dirty plates sitting in front of us for 25 minutes and the waiters/waitresses walk past 27 times without taking plates, taking a dessert menu or offering another drink . Then when I asked for the bill I waited 15 minutes and gave up! Plenty of staff no leadership
      "Fantastic service"
      Fantastic service even for a cold drink on arrival . Stayed here several time and it never disappoints . Kids love the breakfast but do book as it gets so busy . No air con which is a huge shame but they do have fans . Even meal is good again gets really busy so book .

      Food really poor standard. Had to wait a long time for food that i can ony describe as totally unfit. Left most of it even after a second attempt to get it right. Only good thing was that the staff very good and helpful.

      This hotel was good but the staff make outstanding. The member of staff that really stood out was Colin he was very friendly and made are stay welcoming and enjoyable. Going out of his way to accommodate for need. What a conscientious hard work member staff.
      "Room far too hot and noisy; no air-conditioning."
      The bedroom was 26 degrees when we arrived at about 1030pm on a day when it had been around 21 degrees outside. The window opened around 1 inch so our only option was two noisy fans - the fact that they were there suggests we weren't the first guests to have found this hotel too hot. Opening the window meant we had the noise of the A1 traffic all night; and the fans were too noisy to sleep with. As a result, I got around 2 hours sleep. Reception staff in the evening were grumpy and unwelcoming after a long queue to check in. Altogether this experience has completely put us off returning to this hotel. We'll be looking at alternatives next time.

      Hotel description

      From a lovely church in the centre of the town, to a lively arts centre, there's lots to see and do in Grantham. And a stay at Premier Inn Hotel Grantham puts you right at the heart of the town. We're handy if you want to stretch those legs too, with some great walks around the Twin Lakes and in the Lincolnshire countryside. If you'd like something a bit more fast-paced, why not try go-karting at PFI Karting, or watch the races at Newark? The shops at Nottingham are well worth a visit, and Belvoir Castle is a must too. Then come back to the hotel for some lovely food at our Brewers Fayre restaurant, and a warm, comfy bed in your room.
