Boston hotel

Poor Premier inn. Rooms very tired, towel rail in bathroom not something I wanted to put a towel on. Our TV hand to be low volume or it distorted. Hotel has a smell about it. One of our pillows had staining on it. I had to change it around in the pillowcase so I didn’t see it. Restaurant for breakfast not really worth it. Also very tired. Staff all very polite.

Rooms were excellent absolutely no complaints there. As expected, the bed was comfortable. What let them down was the restaurant, it was shabby run down and in need of a major refurbishment, very few staff to cope, limited menu, very little choice in beers and lagers, A 45 minuet wait for a meal is unacceptable. Food was standard fare .

The rooms are standard Premier Inn rooms but the decor starting to look a bit tired and grubby. The main issue though was that the 'Brewers Fayre'restaurant had been closed and although the restaurant itself was open it had limited opening hours and a very restricted menu,not the new menu advertised on the Premier Inn website. Service was also very slow. The staff were over stretched but still very friendly and had to keep apologising for the situation outside of their control. Several staff had been made redundant and others had chosen to leave when the Brewers Fayre franchise ended. They could not give a time line for when the new menu, kitchen, or extra staff would be I place but I was told more than once it may not be until the New Year. Also I was there for 4 nights and the breakfast coffee machine was broken for the whole time.

The service from the staff within Premier Inn and the restaurant which is almost attached is amazing. The hospitality is great. I would like to highlight Simon as a gentlemen, well spoken and genuiley a breath of fresh air. All the ladies who work here are also amazing. I would highly recommend staying here.

Firstly, there's is no food here. They don't have a thyme restaurant - only a closed down Brewers Fayre. We were told they had a very limited menu. Well we managed to get in as we were staying at the Premier Inn. Well we were seated and waited 35 minutes only to be ignored and watched as others who came after were served. We left and drove 3miles to a much better Marston's Pub. No breakfast was available or attempted. Second night - we were woken at 1.15 in the morning by idiots in the room above (131) leaping about and screaming for about an hour. I went to talk to reception. Sedly he was a young man who was too scared to talk to his shadow let alone deal with these idiots. Doubt we will get compensation - they are hopeless to contact let alone complain. Avoid this place.
