Melton Mowbray hotel

We arrived early and were charged £15 early check in fee. Our friends arrived 30 mins later and weren’t.

While it was an inauspicious start, due to the car park being full at 9pm when we arrived, and a really unpleasant angel in the corridor, in still confident in giving it a 5. The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful or courteous to us, and even gave our daughters small presents left over from Easter. The breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. That was definitely the most enjoyable stay in a Premier Inn I have had. Thank you to all the staff at Premier Inn Melton Mobray, you are a credit to the organisation.

Overall good, but with a couple of issues. Reception staff were friendly, bedroom was as you expect in Premier inn. Windows are sealed, so there's a ventilation system. The bathroom smelt of drains and upon investigation, the flow from the toilet flush comes up and into the shower drain, leaving a brown sludge. Also the rubber seal on the drain cover had perished so the smells filled the room. I advised maintenance and hotel managers who said they would undertake repairs to it. Breakfast was very good. Even the locals come in for their breakfast. Parking is limited and the spaces are very small. I managed to get the last space, so look at other locations incase its full when you turn up.

Had 2 day stay everything was how it should be the thing that did stand out was the staff they are happy and welcoming the day and night staff first class the breakfast was perfect and cooked with love thanks again

A small Premier Inn, with rather limited dining facilities, this hotel is nevertheless a great place for a brief overnight stop in the town. The centre is a short walk away so other eating options are easy to get to. It is also next door to a Lidl so a picnic type meal is easy too. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were responsive to our needs. Car parking is very near by but does involve some steps to reach the hotel. Limited disabled spaces are nearby.
