Leicester (Forest East) hotel

Emma and Julie the staff are absolutely amazing and cannot do enough they have been run off there feet all night due to the chef been absolutely terrible with the food orders we ordered are food when there was only six people in the restaurant after ordering at half past six it finely came at eight thirty Emma and Julie could not stop saying sorry for the chef that is unable to work under pressure this is unacceptable when you have been working all day and all you want to do is have a bit of food then go to bed but it feels like I have done a double shift just waiting painfully for my food Emma and Julie please keep up with your hard work

Nice room and staff, HORRENDOUS WAIT ON FOOD, chef is a joke !!!! . .. Stop (ped) here for business ALL the time and depending on the chef the food can take over an hour to turn up. Its a shocking joke and they need to do something about it. If it wasnt for Julie and Emma who are amazing it would be getting a ONE STAR most review 👎 .. that bad I'll.be making a complaint to Premier inn customer services as its ALLL the time with this place and need rid of this chef its embarrassing. Honestly if it wasnt for the great staff Julie, Emma tonight and hospitality of the staff taking the brunt for an inadequate incompetent chef the place would literally be a billion % better, feel really sorry for them having to cover and make excuses for the chef. There is a female chef on somenights, that is great and cant see why they cant have her over this useless one thats on in here now. Im unfortunately going to be asking I never get put up here again for our company and we generally have 5-10 people staying in hotels Monday to friday every week so tonight's and previous incidents with this chef, .. AGAIN, has probably cost them now 10's of thousands a year unfortunately.

Room dated for Premier Inn, but okay. . But the dining experience is shocking, I am unsure if this is due to Premier inn changing food outlets from out sourced pubs to in-house but this place is very under staffed. 2 ladies on duty very good but were serving at bar, seating people, taking orders from tables, delivering food, taking payments and above all apologising for what is evidently not their fault. Good staff but not enough of them. New Premier inn menu disappointing also.

When staying at the hotel we used the restaurant to have the meal deal. We found all the food plus the unlimited breakfast to be of good quality and very good value for money. All the staff we met either in the restaurant or on the reception were very polite, friendly and helpful. A big thankyou to Daniel P, Amy, Julie and Sharna for making us feel we welcome.
