"Served its purpose just about."
Overall hotel room served its purpose. Didn’t meet the expectations it should have for the price we paid considering no breakfast or anything was available. Best thing was the staff, AC and the bed
Curtain fell off. Rail to hang our clothes fell apart as well. Was poorly installed. Bathroom extractor fan didn’t work. Wasn’t enough disability parking places. I had to park very far from the entrance of the hotel. I also tried to give the reception my car registration but no one was available to tell so not sure if I will receive something in the post or not.

"This Premier Inn does not have accessible wet rooms only low baths"
Arrived after booking an accessible room as in a wheelchair and turned up to be told it only has low baths not wet room showers.
Absolutely no use whatsoever, when you cannot cannot get in and out of any bath due to having surgery.
No apology and just given a refund, and told to try elsewhere.
Really unhelpful and extremely distressing trying to desperately find a room as we are at an event in the city tonight.

"Serious attention needed"
My stay was not at premier inn city Center. It was at the Groby Road Permier Inn. Our stay was for 3 nights. And was booked in advance. We are a family of 3, with my daughter being 12yrs old.
Arriving at the hotel at 10pm to check in, after a 3hr drive from Wales, the Hotel had informed us that guests are being relocated due to safety concerns. The hotel had decided to relocate at 5pm. Understandably.
After waiting 45 minutes they offered us a Premier Inn in Melton Mowbray. Which was an additional 35-45 minutes drive. Prior to that offer, a family of 4 were offered a family room (for 3) at the City Centre location, but they declined and requested Premier In, Hinckley instead. At no point did it occur to them that they could have offered us the City Centre room. I then requested the family for 3 room at the city centre, and the answer I received was “it is fully booked”. Another family was travelling to Inverness and was offered Premier Inn, Market Harborough. Totally different direction!
It’s was as if the staff couldn’t read a map!
We couldn’t rely on the management of Premier Inn to find us accommodation so we started to look for ourselves, which was difficult and expensive to an already exhausted family.

"Great hotel, friendly staff"
Clean and with friendly staff, the room was everything you would expect from a Premier Inn, ensuring that the customer always had the best experience. Absolutely no faults with this hotel, and free parking with a gastro pub for convenience which offered lovely food and a pleasant evening experience
