Location was excellent, staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. My room was everything that I needed for my stay. Cleaning the room was disappointing, as coming back to the room, looked the same as I left it apart from the rubbish being taken out of the bin.
As regards value, having booked my stay, got confirmation plus breakdown of charges for each night. Not happy about the cost as two nights were reasonable, but the other two nights were double the price.

Once again after a long drive I was charged ÂŁ15 to enter a ready room thirty minutes before 3PM. The receptionist although having and accepting she had the discretion as to whether she charged was intent on charging. Is she on a commission?
I was unwell and needed to take my medication so had no choice but to pay her fee.
I had paid for the room, it was ready, so why the additional charge?

"Favourite place to stay!"
my partner and I are long distance, so we stay in hotels together quite a lot. this specific one was by far my favourite. the location is quiet and peaceful. double standard room had more than enough space for me and my partner.
the bathroom was very nice, every room was clean. the staff were all very friendly. the only slight downside was that the wifi and phone signal wasnât the best, but other than that, everything was great! :)
