"Lovely location and amazing staff"
Lovely location by water , although the restaurant is located separately from the hotel it was only across the car park. The staff here were exceptional, we have stayed at several premier inns but here the staff were so helpful and friendly. One young lady on reception even helped with our bags from the car. They were amazing from the reception team to restaurant to house keeping. Such a credit to the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Trip Type:
"A little gem"
Easy to access, with a warm and welcoming arrival.
The rooms were a good size, clean and comfortable, with a really good shower too.
Check-in and check-out were effortless, and we secured a great price by booking well in advance.

"Disappointing stay"
Good location for our visit and we have stayed here before and found everything fine. This time we got the impression that things were somewhat rundown and standards had slipped. Corridor carpets had not been vacuumed, but room was clean, although bathroom seemed a little tired. Reception was not very welcoming which is very unusual in a Premier Inn. There was only enough milk in the room for 2 drinks and when we attempted to collect more from reception, we were told that there was none as 'the boss had forgotten to order any'. No attempt to resolve the situation except a suggestion we went to the nearby garage to see if we could buy some ourselves. They did, fortunately, but I do not think this is appropriate when you advertise drink facilities in rooms and we have to buy our own milk.
Breakfast was OK, but not freshly cooked and seemed to have been put out at the start of service and just left on a hotplate.
All staff we encountered seemed very disinterested in providing a good hospitality service. We regularly use Premier Inns and have always sung their praises, but this would make me rethink booking with them if it had been my 1st experience with them
