    "Wouldn’t recommend - even for a cheap-ish hotel"
Hotel is really run down and old . Room smelt musty and old - carpets dirty and bathrooms need resealing. Wouldn’t stay here again - floor boards so creaky hardly had any sleep
    "Wonderful welcome"
May I say the welcome and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding. We had a couple of minor problems with the room .. these were quickly solved with a smile. Our room was a little tired.. but good location restaurant nearby, good parking more than made up for this. Will return.
    "Lack of sleep"
awful experience with the noise from guest above, banging around throughout the night and extremely early in the morning, myself and my wife stayed for 2 nights and only got about 2 hours sleep, no wifi in our room as apprantley to foar from the router... Bath panel hanging off lack of tea and coffee
"Good hotel but terrible quality food."
I don't have any issues with the hotel at all but, unfortunately I added the breakfast and evening meal package. The food is served at the onsite Brewer's Fayre and it was truly awful. Avoid the food at all costs would be my advice.
"Good base but noisy in the room!"
Checked in around 7pm after a day at West Midlands Safari park, stayed here due to combi 2 4 1 ticket with Drayton Manor and this hotel being 30 mins from Drayton Manor ready for the next day. Plenty of car parking spaces. Careful though, there's an area where all the ground bricks need cementing in as all lose and there will be a claim before long with someone breaking their ankle, massive area this is in the middle of the car park. Checked in, was given room card to get in the room. Wasn't told when breakfast was or where, wasn't told check out time. Basically asked for my name and key card given. Big room for a family room with a double bed and 2 singles, one of the singles was a camp bed of some sort and rock hard, wouldn't have expected a dog to sleep on it. So my youngest got in the double with me and the eldest went on the other single which was a proper single bed. This Premier inn is only 2 floors but you can hear every single footstep of the room above. Thankfully they stopped being elephants around the room at around 10:30pm (both nights) The room had an awful sound in all the 2nd night like someone was running a bath constantly and I didn't have the air con on so it wasn't that, great sound for keeping you awake when you have a 3 hour drive home the next day. I paid for breakfast before we went, this was in the Brewers Fayre across from the hotel (use same car park as the hotel), a lot more helpful in there than the Premier inn.
