East Midlands Airport hotel

I needed an airport hotel when our flight was delayed and then diverted to East Midlands, and I arrived at midnight with my five year old daughter. The room was comfortable and met our needs very well. When we woke up we were exhausted and the onward travel we still needed to do felt daunting, but we were massively cheered up by Grace who served us at breakfast and made our day. She was so hospitable, my daughter loved her! She even made sure she got a farewell cuddle before we left. Thank you Grace and co for cheering us up so much, and helping us when we really needed it!

Really good Premier Inn. Spotlessly clean. Staff really friendly and took the time to speak to our young grandson which was really nice. Had a very early flight next day so didnt get chance to try breakfast but the evening meal was really nice

We arrived at around 6.30pm and were greeted by a very pleasant and lovely young man (sorry I dodnt get his name). He was polite, welcoming and friendly. We then went for food in the restaurant. As usual, the prices in Premier are always a little over priced. We had Sirloin Steak and Pizza. They were beautifully presented, freshly cooked and tasted as good as they looked. We were served in the restaurant by Melissa & Megan. They were friendly, bubbly and nothing was too much trouble (I had a couple of odd requests!) We went to our room, and it was spacious and very clean. There was secondary double glazing to help with minimising noise (very close to an airport), and a great new feature of a blur/purple light option in the bathroom , so as not to light up the whole room if someone uses the bathroom during the night. We needed an extra pillow. I asked at reception, and within less than 5 minutes ut was delivered to our room by the lovely young man from reception. We regularly stay at Premier Inn's, and I can say this has definitely been one of the best, from staff friendliness and helpfullness, to the food and lovely well presented rooms. O would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here.

We arrived at the Premier Inn East Midlands Airport very late, around 11:30pm, and were absolutely exhausted after a long day. I have to say, the pictures online really don’t do the rooms justice — especially the bathroom with the lovely pink lighting! We slept like babies. 🥰 Now, I’ll be honest, I haven’t stayed in a Premier Inn for quite a while and I’ve never been a huge fan of the breakfast. However, we woke up absolutely starving, so decided to give it a try without having particularly high expectations! We were greeted by a really friendly lady who took our order, and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our breakfast. When it arrived, we were genuinely pleasantly surprised. The quality of the bacon and sausages was fantastic and, even better, it tasted great! What impressed us even more was that the chef who had cooked our breakfast actually came out afterwards to ask if everything was okay ( Manaw) . I told her it was honestly the best breakfast I’ve ever had at a Premier Inn — and I meant it! We then got chatting to Grace (I’m not sure if she was a manager or a senior member of the team), who was absolutely lovely. She spent around five minutes chatting to us about the dramas we’d had with the airport parking the night before. After such a stressful evening, that little bit of kindness really meant a lot. We only chose this hotel as a halfway stop because we live in North Yorkshire, but we’re already planning our next holiday for next year and we will definitely be staying here again. The whole team were incredibly friendly and welcoming. In all the Premier Inns I’ve stayed at over the years, I’ve never experienced staff quite as friendly as this. It genuinely feels like a lovely place to work, and that really comes across in the way the staff treat their guests. Thank you to everyone for making what could have been a stressful overnight stop such a lovely experience. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year! ❤️

Sophie, Pamala & Melissa made us feel so welcome, nothing too much trouble, and best of all was Manow who cooked breakfast for us each morning exactly as asked & cooked to perfection.
