Preston East hotel

The room was the upgraded type and had no hairdryer, it was also much smaller than the norm. Staff were unable to source an hairdryer until the following morning. Breakfast and dinner were served in The Social which is a dirty canteen. Not enough staff, tables left with used plates and when lifted not cleaned. Coffee and food were not replenished at breakfast and until what looked like a manager came in, simply not enough staff on. I would avoid this one if you are looking to eat without having to drive elsewhere.

Stayed at Preston east Sunday to Wednesday for The Open…pre arrival I sent 2 emails to hotel but had no reply…on arrival asked receptionist about this and who answered emails…she said we do…I said you don’t cus I’ve sent 2 to no reply,she said well we are busy…given key to room 40,which was ga good room overlooking car park…found crisps on floor by bed so room not cleaned properly from previous guest….had breakfast on Monday morning…it was Luke warm at best……when ordering breakfast I asked room to be cleaned as instructed….came back Monday night to find room had not been cleaned….all in all a very poor experience which is really disappointing as I’m a big primer inn fan

Check in - Receptionist who checked us in was amazing, unfortunately it seemed that the hotel was low on staff, it was a very busy hotel. Very chatty, explained all we needed to know and even discussed me having been an ex employee of Premier Inn. Room-- 10/10, we upgraded to the Premier plus room, highly recommended for that little extra. Not the greatest of views, however perfect for what we needed. Very clean, well done housekeeping, tidy, everything we needed was supplied. Sleep - 10/10 great nights sleep. Comfortable and cosy. Breakfast - attention to detail second to none. Although extremely busy, the staff kept going during the pressure. Lovely to talk to. Went out of their way as my partner has a mushroom allergy. This has been the 1st time we've experienced the breakfast service to centred around his allergy. Well done all.

Great staff. Really good night's stay. Santosh was a man of many parts used to the kitchen but did a cracking job behind the Bar. Dinner was good as was breakfast

Outstanding service at Premier Inn Preston East I stayed at the Preston East Premier Inn on 19th June as a stopover on my way to Edinburgh, and I wanted to share my appreciation for the exceptional service we received. From the moment we arrived, Ismail at the front desk made our stay feel special. He was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and took the time to explain everything we needed to know. His friendly and professional approach really made a difference. When we went for dinner, we were greeted by Payal, who was equally fantastic. She was polite, attentive, and very accommodating. The meal was excellent and arrived quickly. It was also great to see Ismail helping out in the restaurant — it showed a real sense of teamwork and dedication. The next morning, Payal greeted us again and continued to go above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. A huge thank you to both Ismail and Payal for making our stay so enjoyable. Their kindness and excellent customer service truly made our visit memorable. 👌
