Preston Central hotel

We had a wonderful stay here and Ismail, Alishba and Arti were absolutely the most generous staff members. They were wee rays of sunshine during our stay making our kids time here so fun and enjoyable. As parents of allergy kids that carry epipens they made our stay stress free and were so helpful and careful when we came down to breakfast. Outstanding service from these guys.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 18 months. Unfortunately this hotel is going down hill. The rooms are alway good and to a good standard. The staff levels are atrocious .staff always seem to be hiding in the office. Never anyone on reception when you arrive and trying to get someone to answer the bell is shocking. Been told off for not using the self service kiosks, which never have found my booking any time I have tried. As with many other reviews. Avoid the restaurant. I only ever see one member of staff working it. Generally they are working hard to service on the bar take table orders and serve food. Wait times are long at points. Tonight I was ignored by the staff member on duty who was to busy watchin trying to spend as much time engaging in the World Cup football. Cleaning standards out side of the rooms is also been in decline over the past year .

Harry was really kind and friendly and helped me with my invoice at the end of his shift. That was great service, thank you. Room was clean and quiet.

I recently stayed for 1 night during the week in the plus room and was blown away by it. These rooms are situated on the top floor and have recently been renovated to a high standard. The room was immaculate and so clean with additional extras such a coffee machine and mini bars of chocolate. The price was reasonable and the additional fee to upgrade was definitely worth it. I dined using the meal deal which is fantastic value for money and the food was very fresh. The staff were lovely and made a real effort to chat and be sociable which is important to me when I’m travelling alone as it can be a lonely place week after week. The breakfast was standard premier inn and no different to others. All clean and well maintained. A huge thank you to the staff for going above and beyond. I had a fantastic stay and will recommend to work colleagues.

Nice hotel. Clean and tidy. Customer service is great, as always, however they are very short staffed. Difficult to book into the restaurant as can't seem to cope with more than 8 people. Slight issue with room, on this stay. The bath plug was missing and the lever that controls the rain shower was broken off, so meant I couldn't use either. Luckily the little shower attachment was working. This is not the norm for this hotel.
