Burnley hotel

We stayed here while working on a charity project in the area. The room was basic, with thread bare carpets and a barely working bathroom, but it was just somewhere to sleep. Nights were very loud with parties in different rooms and banging doors all night. On the first night we found the attached restaurant nice, limited drinks but good food and plenty of it. The second night was very different, my friend witnessed a bar man accused a waiter of not being gay enough to work hard, and will fail as he’s not as camp as him and the manager, this was in front of customers. He then continued to harass us into ordering even though we were waiting for more to join us. We ordered in our time and when the food came out with parts of the meals missing the bar man just said “haven’t got things use mayo”. After that we ate in town and just used the hotel to “sleep”.

Rubbish. Room smelt like smelly socks. Had meal deal. Paid extra £2.99 for sirloin, asked for medium rare, no, med-well done. Shriveled peas. Breakfast-6:30, bacon,sausage, beans and hash brown! That's it. No eggs, black pudding, mushrooms unless I waited till about 7am but was on HGV driving test for 7:30. Nearly £30 for nothing really. Bed was comfortable That's it! Worst place I have ever stayed. 2 out of 10 just about.

Comfortable room good location. Unable to check in at 14.50pm so had to wait in the car for 10 minutes as the restaurant not open till 5 so that wasn't great. Couldn't even get a cup of coffee! Apart from that had a great stay and a lovely breakfast cooked separately to cater for my dietary requirements (coeliac)

The hotel was lovely and clean, and really nice from the outside too. The room we stayed in was clean and very spacious. The only downside was that the room was at the top of the stairs, and all we heard all night and morning were doors banging, which kept us awake most of the night. The food in the restaurant was okay, but I would maybe find somewhere else to eat as one of our pizzas was raw and very soggy. It's a nice hotel though for a couple of nights.

Hotel is pleasantly situated between two parks so the ambience is more rural than urban. The staff are very friendly. I find that Premier Inns offer good breakfasts.
