"Early check in venue and room for the night."
Good location just off the motorway.
Nice room and not too hot with comfy bed.
Standard hot options for breakfast. Bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms hash brown. Scrambled eggs and fried eggs.

"Not a good stay"
Shower tap running all night and no cold water from sink tap.
Disabled parking occupied with vehicles and no blue badge displayed and staff stated not their responsibility and you don’t have to display a badge despite the parking sign outside saying £100 fine

"An enjoyable stay"
Hotel location is ideal for touring around i.e. Blackpool to the west is under an hour away and Clitheroe and its castle a bit to the east, alternatively Pendle hill and it's history of the witch trials.
Alternatively in Darwen itself a visit to the town market square or a climb to the Darwen Tower can be made.

"Another great time"
Just thought I would like to put a review on today . We stayed 25th of April to 26th 2026 just over night due to family friends birthday in Darwen. We were greeted at front desk by a lovely lady, very chatty and polite and made us feel welcome. Room was clean and was lovely and quiet, great black out curtains to give us a great night's sleep. Staff even next day we're brilliant such a good team. I'm awfully sorry I couldn't remember the lady's name but she will know who these scousers are ha ha. So could management please pass on our thanks again. We will return again soon to see friends so we will book in with the hotel again when we will return. Thanks Lower Darwen premier in gang .

Overall, a nice stay! The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, and it was conveniently located near a restaurant for food in a quiet area. The only issue I noticed was a bit of mold above the shower head.
