"A warm and friendly welcome!"
We travelled to Whitstable during the heatwave to enjoy a day at the beach.
After a day touring the town and beach, we travelled to the Premier Inn earlier than expected as my husband was ill.
On arrival the receptionist could see how sick my husband was and allowed us into our room. She was kind and helpful, which we greatly appreciated at the time.
The room was lovely; it was fresh, clean and the carpets looked new. The bathroom was impeccably clean.
We'd definitely stay again!

"We had a Jolly Good, relaxing time at the Whitstable, Premier Inn x"
We stayed overnight as my Husband had been entertaining on the seafront at nearby Herne Bay, with his 6 piece band 'The Jolly Good Timers' on Sunday 21st June 2026. We found parking was great and checked in to the Whitstable premier Inn Hotel, early evening, greeted by a very pleasant lady at Reception. I loved the gifts and adorable teddies on display, raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. This is a lovely touch and shows the Hotel has a heart. Our room was perfect for our needs. A very comfy bed, loved the fan we were provided with, which was bliss and not noisy as digital . Lovely TV and coffee and tea facilities. ( A packet of ginger biscuits would have made it perfect! ) We nipped out to Tankerton at 7:00 for a heavenly, Midsummers day swim. Once back at the Hotel,we found the bathing facilities perfect! I love the fact the hairdryer is by the mirror, well lit up with lights and shelf to rest my make up on. The price my Husband paid for the two of us was amazing value including a super cooked breakfast, tailored to our needs, plus continental breakfast available too. Bravo James the chef for his excellent cooking and being such lovely, happy chappy too and clearly adores his job. Our waitress was lovely and a great communicator. So bravo to Premier Inn. xxxxx

"Joyous stay at Whitstable Premier Inn."
Best to book as early as possible as the rates then are extremely good value.
Check in, quick and efficient and friendly. Very nice room with comfy double bed, ensuite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities. Fabulous cooked breakfast to order so great if you're a candidate for an olympic eating team. Check out not till midday so plenty of time to freshen up after breakfast before heading out for the day.

excellent in every respect, plenty car parking, 5 mins. for regular bus to either Whitstable or Canterbury.

"Very disappointing experience"
As a loyal customer of Premier Inn, this was a disappointing experience. I was left at reception with heavy bags unattended for five minutes. Apparently someone else was coming to serve me, but they didn’t. The room smelt of paint and hotel being decorated, no previous warning or apology. The temperature of room was fixed at 24 degrees and wouldn’t change.
The room was noisy and bed comfortable.
Excellent bathroom.
Disappointing……
