Whitstable hotel

A very comfortable place to stay and just up the road from Whitstable town centre. A perfect base for visiting outwards to Canterbury. The on site restaurant was perfect for breakfast and evening dinner. Special note should be made regarding our hostess Julia who made us welcome and kept us smiling. A very pleasant experience with great service from her.

This place has been re-vamped and is very comfortable and the staff are helpful and the restaurant/bar is basic but quite reasonable.

Great stay here. Staff helpful & accomodation very clean. Would definately come back. Breakfast would be better with more staff on

Wonderful staff. Great reception by a young man but didn't get his name. The hotel looks tired from the outside but it was clean and up to the usual standards. The breakfast room was really nice and the food cooked by Lisa was excellent. Everything was piping hot and the freshly made scrambled egg was perfect. We were greet by Julia in the breakfast room with the warmest of smiles and she talked us through breakfast service and asked if we had any allergies. Breakfast wise it was the best of the best of our regular stays at Premier Inn's. A special thank you to Julia and Lisa.

1 night stay while visiting Whitstable. Our room had been refurbished and was very nice with lovely touches like the decent shower gel, hand wash. It was hot but the fan provided was adequate. Such a shame the large adjoining pub was closed 2 years ago . This means all meals take place in the hotel in a small room . There is no bar in the hotel , just a fridge of tinned wines, few bottles of beer etc. this means there is zero atmosphere in this room and not somewhere you’d want to sit and have a drink. This hotel really misses that pub on site. It’s 10 minutes into town so not walkable to have a nice evening drink . Staff were friendly and helpful and room was good value. Breakfast was fine , cooked well but bread was stale and didn’t feel as good as we’ve had at other premier inns but feel that’s due to having to be in that small room now . Would stay again but would have to travel out in the evening to enjoy
