"Dated and needs modernisation."
Given room 14 which, unfortunately was right next to the adjoining pub outdoor seating are and a group of feral children screaming and shouting way past 11:30pm (and this was midweek). Room was clean but dated and plaster beginning to fall off wall. Bed very comfortable. Shower powerful although again, paint was peeling off the walls. £128 for a basic room midweek off season seemed pretty expensive.

"Great value."
Excellent and friendly. Great value for money and very friendly staff. The bedroom was spacious and very quiet both during the day and, more importantly at night. The breakfast was excellent!

Excellent staff in this hotel - very welcoming, friendly and efficient. My room was very clean and quiet. The Chef and Brewer staff were great as well. Special mention for Premier Inn staff Allison, Kritan and Lucy and Janine at the restaurant.

Great welcome. Comfy bed. Quiet. Free parking.
Hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment.
Several lights not working in our room - reported.
Receptionist on Saturday evening forgot to bring items up we'd requested upon return to hotel - clean hand towel & 2 mugs. No apology when I went down an hour later.
Previous occupant of room had dyed hair pink/red and had somehow splashed the ceiling!

Bewl Water and its watersports are also very close by, and Penshurst Place and Gardens are a must for the green-fingered. After a full day, come back to the hotel to relax, with tasty food and a lovely comfy bed.
