"Give it a miss"
Arrived to find a heap of rubbish in carpark and the two bins near the hotel door overflowing with food rubbish. We had booked for three nights but only had one towel, when I asked for another I had to threaten to check out if we didn't get one. Whole hotel tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. On leaving the bins out side were still over flowing. The pub next door was ok but seems to attract some colourful characters!!

"Dirty bed linen"
Premier Inn , Tonbridge North . Arrived about 9pm , the room was 30 degrees with one fan. After sleeping on top of the bed ( duvet ) so hot, I found dried blood on the pillow cover ( not the pillow case ) and bodily fluids on the sheets and mattress cover, the next morning. Reception very pleasant and dealt with this professionally. Complained to guest services and have had to chase a refund and only the one night. I have never felt so dirty in a hotel PRIEMIER IN YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES

"In need of refurbishment"
The reception staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and dinner at the attached Vauxhall Inn was good. Breakfast was acceptable and offered a decent start to the day.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself is showing its age and is in clear need of refurbishment. The rooms felt very tired, with a noticeable damp or musty smell, and although an older hotel is understandable, cleanliness should still be maintained. My room had cobwebs on the ceilings in both the bedroom and bathroom, which gave the impression that it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly.
The stay wasn't awful, but it also wasn't what I've come to expect from Premier Inn, as I've generally found their hotels to offer a much more consistent standard. This location feels overdue for some investment and a bit more attention to housekeeping. With some refurbishment and improved cleaning, it could easily be brought back up to the standard the brand is known for.

"Overpriced and underwhelming"
We often use Premier Inn for its standard approach and have stayed here before. Compared to previous Premier Inn experiences, this particular stay was overpriced and underwhelming. Air conditioning did not work, hotel is now dated and it was one of the most expensive Premier Inn stays we have had. Its only saving grace was the food at the pub located on site was very good.

Hotel description
From attractions like Tonbridge Castle, to key business venues in the South East, a stay at Premier Inn Hotel Tonbridge puts so much within reach. The train station is also very nearby, making it easy to get to destinations across Kent and beyond.
Take the family to enjoy the fair rides and entertainment at Hop Farm. Or travel a little bit further to see that gem of the South East, Leeds Castle. Bewl Water and its watersports are also very close by, and Penshurst Place and Gardens are a must for the green-fingered. After a full day, come back to the hotel to relax, with tasty food and a lovely comfy bed.
