"A Nighmare stay at Premier Inn, maidstone, seven oakes (Nightmare Inn)"
(2 night stay 26-6-26 - to 28-6-26): 2 night stay
where to start? NO AIR CON. (only told on arrival). I did not think to check this when i booked ( what multi chain of UK hotel does not have air conditioning in their rooms??)
One fan in room. There was a heat wave at my visit, but even on a normal sunny day the room(s) would be awful without it. Come on, its 2026 in a multi national chain of hotels....
The temperture in the room was 30 degrees the first night and 27 degrees the second night.
Window only opened 4 inches
No mini fridge
no security safe
hard pillows
not even a plastic beaker in the bathroom
in the room: 2 tea bags, 2 coffee sachets, 2 sugars, 2 milks (i mean, come on..)
bathroom so small you fell into the sink getting out the bath (a joke). I am small, what would a larger person do?
no plug points at bedsides
absolutely no water pressure, shower a joke
Let me tell you about breakfast in this tiny, 1970's room : 1 cook , 1 poor waitress taking orders, helping cook, clearing up. 30 mins wait for 2 poached eggs (hard), 2 hash browns (cold) and 2 salty poor standard bacon rashers. Coffee was awful. tried 3 times to get a decent coffee from their 'machine;. awful. ran out of orange juice in 10 mins upon arrival @ 09:15 am.
no where sit anywhere inside or outside. Horrible. shame on you Premier Inn, it was the NIGHTMARE INN.
£208 for 2 nights (1 person, not including breakfast). sub standard, tired and frankly awful.
Note to manager/CEO. take a look at your hotels, stay in this one, see if you like it, It should be closed for renovation and upgrade forthwith, with Air Con.

"Not the best ambassador for a Premier Inn location"
Upon arrival at 11pm, I almost missed the place tucked away, as the lighting wasn't very good. Staff were welcoming upon arrival though. Got to my room and the temperature inside the room was 30 degree's, stated on the heating unit. The window was open for the full 10cm that it could open, but made no difference. The room does not have aircon, but a small fan on the desk. This stayed on for full for the duration, but made little to no impression.
The water pressure is dire, even to the point I had to wait and fill a cup of water to clean a tooth brush.
Having a shower was a challenge to get shampoo and soap off.
Breakfast wasn't up to usual Premier Inn standards, as you have to order everything and it is plated and microwaved, then brought to you.
No lounge area or bar area to relax in, and I wasn't going to sit in the room.
Had a fire alarm activation (false alarm) that took ages to turn off because there was no information readily available for silence and reset code.
As said staff are friendly, but Premier Inn you need a shake up here.
There's a Holiday inn up the road...

"Great Family Stay!"
We had a lovely stay, Leah welcomed us so warmly & was really helpful! She gave the kids a little mini vip goodie bag which they was such a lovely touch!
The rooms were clean, beds comfy & had such a fun fan keeping us chilled in the heat!
We stay at premier inns regularly this has been one of our favourite, will definitely be back!

"A pleasant experience"
Blissfully comfortable bed! Charming staff in fact (apart from problem with bedside lamps) we had a very good stay. The Continental breakfast was adequate
