Margate hotel

We couldn't have had a more enjoyable stay. Bonnie and her team were super-efficient and friendly, the room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the breakfast, served in pleasant surroundings, was delicious. All the staff we met were eager to go the extra mile to help us. We particularly appreciated being able to tag our bags and have them looked after while we took a final stroll around Margate before catching our train back to London.

Monday 13th April. My son and I turned up after a very long walk, we had nowhere to stay and were on our last legs. The staff behind the bar / reception were so friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. It turned a difficult end to a long day into a pleasant and positive experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Well done all.

Great location-short walk into the Old Town. Easy parking. Friendly helpful staff. We had a premier Plus room and it was excellent-clean and good facilities. Great value for money also. The breakfast was tasty with a good choice.

The sink was blocked and there was sand in the bath, making the brief stay a little grubby. Whilst it's an ugly building, it is well located and the staff were friendly.

Went for dinner tonight. For a friends birthday. We booked for 7 adults and 5 children two of them babies. Upon arrival I booked in my car and was informed that it was only two hours parking. We thought that would be plenty. We tried to order a very limited menu, I’m vegetarian very limited on choices. We waited three quarters of a hour for the food to be delivered to our table. When it finally arrived it came out at all different times the others were pleased with there’s but mine was cold and very unpleasant. I used the toilet and there was no toilet paper. When I mentioned this to the manager she rolled her eyes at me and said ok. The staff didn’t really seem to know what was going on. We ordered dessert and when bought to the table we had to ask the waitress to clear the dinner plates first. Again we were met with more eye rolling. The dessert was frozen. Again quite unpleasant. When I asked about the parking as it had taken so long for our food to arrive we were told there was nothing they could do and I would have to move the car. I left at that point a very disappointed customer. Will not be back. Staff need training as no one seemed to have a clue.
