"Staff are fantastic"
We had a lovely time, staff were always on hand and super friendly. However the sofa bed was missing a mattress protector, the shower curtain had a questionable stain on it and there was a contact lense left in the bun. Staff fixed everything when told.
"shoddy arrival/check in spoilt first impressions"
after a 3 hour journey we were tired and just wanted to check in and relax, walked into hotel to be met with a huge queue that was not moving just to check in. It transpired that this hotel must have recently moved to customer diy check ins and after moving to the front of the queue the problem was obvious. Bewildered customers attempting to "self check in" with both terminals having a staff member "assisting" them. Now on a day when the hotel was sold out this is a retrograde to the normal service at a premier inn, where you approach the desk and someone checks you in within about 60 seconds..Not in margate now though , just a large queue of frustrated customers.this was the worst check in we have had over the last 30 years, the last thing we needed ! such a shame that our first impression was so bad as the location, room, bed wwere all very good, it just WAS NOT the start to our break that we needed
"Great stay"
Stayed Friday to Sunday in a Premier room. I can't fault it .. was clean, very comfortable, air conditioned and the bonus of a small fridge. Excellent location, very close to mainline Station, and despite being on sea front and main road it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast choice was plentiful and delicious. We also ate in the evening and one lunch time, food was great, good choice and reasonably priced.
"Greay Stay"
Just stayed overnight in a Premier Plus room and definitely worth paying the extra for it. Room was immaculate with air con coffee machine and mini fridge and walk in showdr and toiletries. The Social area is lovely for a drink and food. Just had breakfast which was lovely and not to busy.
"Poor hygiene & uncomfortable stay"
Poor hygiene & uncomfortable stay at Margate’s premier inn august 11-13. The pillows were soiled, only three towels for four guests, dirty window ledge, and mould in the bathroom.Yhe room obviously had not been cleaned thoroughly as there were remnants left from previous guests . No way to change the room temperature, with temperatures of 29 degrees we barely slept. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom so it was like a furnace and maintained an unbearable heat! The provided fan was dusty and filthy. Extremely disappointing . Not what I expect from Premier Inn.
