Glen was So accommodating and friending on arrival, and made our stay one to remember

The hotel is fine and what I'd expect for a Premier Inn. However they simply dont have enough staff. Only at 1 person on checkin so if theres a problem it all stops. Clearly rooms werent ready. Luckily I clocked the situation and got near the front at 3pm checkin but people at the back must have waited 30mins. I'd not paid for breakfast but bought it one morning. Again only one member of staff trying to do every thing in a full restaurant so even trying to pay for it was tricky. Tables not getting cleared etc.

Disgusting stained carpet and sofa in bedroom, with no phone signal and a very basic bathroom too, especially when you consider the price!!

Very conveniently situated. Modern build - 5 years old. Clean and well maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn’t use restaurant but Bar service was great. Recommended for a short stay. Free Wifi awful often did not work at all.and v slow when it did. . I suspect they have to pay their ISP extra for the 1990s speeds. Also 5g poor (not their fault). I suggest management abandon the penny-pinching “pay for a useable speed” approach. We don’t have to pay extra for hot water do we? . Otherwise great. Top end of PI type stay.

We stayed for one night on a Monday to break up a long journey, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Check-in was quick and easy using the self-service machine, and the reception staff member I spoke with to arrange breakfast was polite and very helpful. Our family room was spotless, well presented, and felt fresh throughout. The bathroom was equally clean and well maintained. All four of us slept extremely well in very comfortable beds, with no noise or disturbances during the night. Breakfast the following morning was outstanding—easily the best we’ve had at a Premier Inn, and we’ve stayed in quite a few over the years. The service was excellent, and the chef was cheerful, attentive, and more than happy to prepare the vegetarian options we requested. The restaurant itself was also exceptionally clean, with a calm and pleasant atmosphere. Check-out was straightforward, rounding off a thoroughly enjoyable stay. This has been our best experience at a Premier Inn, and we would definitely return. It also offered great value for money, particularly with the family room rate and the “children eat free” breakfast offer.
