    "Great value, great location"
    Stayed 23rd September 2025 As previously I have complained about other PI’s I feel it’s only right to give credit when credit is due. After an awful experience in the last 2 Premier Inns I had stayed in I refused to use again. However last min I needed accommodation at Dover for an early crossing so I took a chance and booked PI at Dover Central (Eastern Ferry Terminal) hotel for £69 (2 adults 1 child) and £5 for 24 hour parking. Our room was at the back looking over a road rather than water but that was fine as we were there minimal time, the room was fresh and clean, the beds were exceptionally comfortable and we ate in the restaurant where the food was very good pub style. The man on reception was so inviting and helpful (sorry I didn’t get your name) that my faith has been restored some what in using PI again. Sadly it seems some are awful and it’s ruining it for the good ones, the one I stayed in at The Trafford Centre was incredible.
    "stay elsewhere"
    no free luggage storage service when checking out. The other premier inn I've been to have this service FOR FREE. no sound proof. you can hear the traffic outside, footsteps above and at the corridor.
    "Dover stay"
    A good modern Premier Inn. Does suffer a bit from outside noise due to being on main road to docks. The restaurant food was good, but there were a number of dishes that were not available. Overall a good stay.
    "Could be better"
    Overall dissatisfied with stay. Dirty towels, poor tv coverage. Breakfast very basic and seating in the restaurant very limited Payment for parking not acceptable when staying for more than one night.

    If you want to enjoy the much vaunted Premier Inn good night's sleep, then do not go to the Premier Inn near the Eastern Docks. The room was stiflingly hot with no air-conditioning. And this on a day, 30th August, which was quite cool. We could not open the window because of the noise of lorries passing all night. The fan provided would have been equally disturbing. My complaint was met with the obdurate insistence that, because it is flagged on the website that there is no air-conditioning, we were not entitled to any compensation. Flagging that there is no air-conditioning does not prepare you for an unendurably hot room. Unless, of course, you want to pay more for a room facing the sea, also without air-conditioning, and maybe with less traffic noise, but only maybe. I have no way of telling. It is time Premier Inn did something to correct this unacceptably uncomfortable accommodation.
