Ashford North hotel

Usual Premier Inn comfort - very good bed and everything in room and bathroom as you would expect. Parking easy and plentiful. Good location straight off A20 about 30 minutes drive from port of Dover. The only thing I wonder is how hot the rooms get in the summer - ours was 22 degrees overnight with the heating off and the window open as much as was allowed. There was a fan but no air con.

Stayed here at the end of August. Despite the weather having cooled down and raining, the room (and corridors) were extremely hot and uncomfortable for sleeping. As a result we did not get a good night's sleep. As others have said there is no air con and the windows have restrictors to only open a small bit. There is no air flow so the rooms are very hot. Not the best PI experience.

Given what is happening at PI I felt the staff remained professional at all times. Restaurant was significantly better than recent PI stays elsewhere where the residents only offering has been dire

The location was great, which was on route to Dover. Lovely hotel, but was the room was very hot and quite noisy from the occupants upstairs. The room was very clean and the bed was just right. The staff were so friendly and are probably the best we've come across out of the other premier's we've stayed in. We even met the cat that has called this inn his home! Highly recommended in the cooler months.

Not as good as other Premier Inns I’ve stayed at (which is most of them). When I walked into the room the first thing that hit me was the immense heat. I knew there was no air con but the fan provided was terrible - not only one of the old-fashioned ones but absolutely filthy and dusty so I couldn’t put it on as I would have had dirt and dust blasted all over me. Other Premier Inns have much better and more modern fans. I went back down to reception to ask if I could be put in a room on the ground floor - all the Premier Inns I have stayed in this hot summer have accommodated my request for this but the receptionists here were not helpful and despite there being no other cars in the car park and my arriving bang on check-in time at 3 pm they said they were full. I asked for a different fan and one was brought to my room. Food is at the Beefeater opposite, sadly it is closing down but the staff still give fabulous service despite the knowledge that they are going to be losing their jobs soon, the full English gave me a great start to my day.
