Premier Inn Isle of Wight Sandown (Merrie Gardens) Hotel Great Budget Hotel Easy to find and book. Fantastic Food with very helpful staff. Great customer Service. plenty of parking and clean rooms. Fantastic Manager who sorted out all our concerns. Keep up the good work.
"Good hotel for short stay"
We stayed here as a base for the walk the wight weekend and were happy with our stay. Although there was a problem with the fridge and some hovering was not finished on arrival, both issues were resolved within minutes once we contacted someone from the hotel. The receptionist on arrival was friendly and helpful. We did not eat here but breakfast looked very popular. Despite the numbers at breakfast the hotel was calm and very quiet. We did not even get disturbed by the KFC that we looked out over.
"Poor service"
Disappointing Experience I stayed at Premier Inn Isle of Wight Sandown for two nights in May and was quite disappointed. There was no reception and poor WiFi signal in our rooms, despite the staff acknowledging the issue with no solution offered. This was particularly distressing as I was traveling with my severely ill mother who has Huntingtons chorea and the lack of connectivity triggered her condition. Additionally, communication with our relatives in nearby rooms was a hassle due to no phone reception, forcing us to knock on doors. The hotel website misleadingly advertises free WiFi, which was essentially unavailable. Parking for blue badge holders was also inadequate, as I found very limited spaces during my stay. Overall, a frustrating experience that needs significant improvement.
