Chargeable off-site parking is available nearby at Chester Street car park (IM1 2PQ), Monday-Friday is £6.80 for 10 hours, Saturday all day parking is £2.70, Sunday all day parking is £2.00 and free on bank holidays. Please note parking is pay and display. Alternative, chargeable off-site parking is available at Shaw's Brow car park (IM1 2EL), payment is charged when leaving the car park, ANPR cameras are in operation. Up to 10 hours are £6.80, over 10 hours is £6.90 - Sunday all day £2.00 - Off-Peak periods between (18:00 - 08:00) are 90p per hour, with a maximum charge of £2.70. Both car park operates 24/7 and are operated by the Douglas Borough Council.

Left behind an item, tried calling reception 20 times throughout a 2 day period, no answer…even their own X support team can’t get hold of the hotel. A week later on…no one can give me an answer. What a great example of customer service!

"Stay OK at a Premium Rate!"
Location is good although there is no parking at the hotel - and public parking in Douglas is difficult - especially for cars! During race weeks. motorbikes can be left parked safely on the promenade as long as you do not block crossings and pavements.
The hotel and our room and bathroom were clean and tidy and well maintained.
We were booked in for a week.
There were some issues for some people at check in with rooms not ready but we were allocated a room OK.
Breakfast on the first day was Ok but there was no bread for toast the whole time we were eating. It came just as we were leaving.
We noted that during our week at the hotel the bar and restaurant were closed on various occasions - but luckily there are other eating and drinking options available locally!
Housekeeping was hit and miss with staff shortages. I felt pushy asking more than once for fresh towels but if you are staying for a week, towel changes and a bed linen change shouldn't be too much to ask - especially with event pricing rates!
The staff who were there during our stay were cheerful, friendly and tried to help but are let down by staff shortages it would seem. No complaints about them at all.
With a new Travelodge due to open in 2027 Premier Inn need to address the staffing challenges the have or they will lose business.
Overall our stay was just OK. It served a purpose

"Fantastic Stays at Douglas Premier Inn"
Fantastic stay. Its not the first time we have stayed. Location is right in the middle of douglas with easy access to everything you want. The rooms are to a high standard of cleanliness and they are comfortable. The staff are brilliant, really friendly and can't do enough for you. We dine in the restaurant for breakfast and evening meals and the quality and service is excellent. The breakfast is faultless. Cannot find anything negative to say about our stays here. We highly reccomend.
