Watford North hotel

Would just like to write a thankyou message to the staff here, unfortunately during my stay I became sick following on from a previous illness I had prior to my stay. Jennifer was a massive help, she called 111 which ultimately led to an ambulance ride to the hospital for me to get the help I needed. She checked in on me untill help arrived. Also a massive thankyou to Micheal for arranging my family a last minute room. I'm very grateful for the help given, the staff when above and beyond to assist me.

The room itself was fine. Not great but good enough for what you pay, however, the bathroom was another story: Mould on the ceiling, on the walls and in between the tiles. There were hairs on the shower drain, lots of it. And the shower head itself wasn’t fully working (I’m assuming clogged from lime scale) so it was very bad for showering. We were also not provided with enough towels. The pros: Location is very close to HP studio tour. The bed was comfortable enough, same with pillows. There’s heating/AC (ours worked fine although very loud). TV that even thought is not smart tv, does have plugs to connect devices through HDMI There was a person in reception when we arrived and they also have the self check-in machine so you have options. I think the biggest con however is the surroundings of the building. The parking lot seems abandoned and not very secure, and the hotel is behind an old abandoned restaurant. My husband went to the McDonalds next door and there were homeless people sleeping in there, it isn’t properly lit so it can be dangerous.

Such a lovely restaurant with care and love put into the food by Sam the Chef served by a friendly face Simona. Fresh cooked breakfast, juices and coffee. The hotel is clean and tidy, close Harry Potter studio . Free parking on site. Highly recommended.

The bedroom was as you'd expect from a premier inn, the usual good standard, but the customer service from Simona was second to none. She was rushed off her feet. Serving and greeting but took tine to make every customer feel special. Thank you Simona, we'll be back ✨

My partner and I recently spent a weekend at Premier Inn Watford North and were genuinely impressed. We were looking for a quiet, cozy escape and this hotel delivered far more than we expected. From check-in to checkout, the staff were lovely—warm, attentive, and always ready with a smile or helpful tip. Our double room was beautifully maintained, with fresh linens, a spotless bathroom, and a super-comfy bed that made it hard to get up in the morning! The room was peaceful, with no outside or hallway noise, and the heating/air system kept us comfortable throughout our stay. We had dinner at the attached restaurant and were very happy with the service and quality of food. The staff made great recommendations, and everything was delicious, especially the desserts. Breakfast the next morning was equally impressive—freshly cooked, plentiful, and with lots of options. The hotel is ideally located just a few minutes’ drive from the Warner Bros. Studio Tour and Watford town centre. Free parking made our travel plans easy and stress-free. We left feeling relaxed, recharged, and very well looked after. If you're looking for a romantic, quiet, and affordable hotel with excellent service, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely return!
