    "Good for accessible access."
We had a good sized accessible room. It had an emergency cord in the bathroom and emergency button in the bedroom. Although it had lots of handles to help get in and out of the bath or on or off the toilet, the bath was narrow meaning it was hard to turn around and the shower curtain sticks to you, causing a sensory overload. The bed is lower for wheelchair users and the plug sockets are at a good height for wheelchair access. Dining room was ok, but carpet was dirty and not hoovered. Tables were sticky, even though we saw staff cleaning them (was it a clean cloth?). Overall, it’s a good hotel, which is close to the Harry Potter Studios.
    "Excellent"
Excellent lady at reception very helpful and did everything she could to make the stay more suitable by going out of her way and beyond.
"Rooms were not ready on arrival, we didn’t get 2 of our rooms until an hour after check in time. Staff unhelpful."
The rooms, area, parking were all absolutely fine. The staff massively let it down unfortunately, so i won’t visit again.
"Seems a good nights sleep cannot be guaranteed"
Not the good nights sleep we were guaranteed thanks to a family upstairs running from side to side in their room constantly around midnight waking me and my partner. The gent on the desk was really helpful and did go and speak with them and came back to us, didn’t stop them though, then waking my own children up. Earlier in the evening my partner asked the lady at reception where the bar was, she showed him to it and asked what he wanted when he was rudely interrupted by another family who told her their order which she then proceeded to make. We were only given one room key whereas before we’ve always had two which meant if my partner wanted to leave the room, we were left with no lights. The lady who greeted us upon arrival was very welcoming and also at breakfast was really lovely.
    "Needs an upgrade"
Stayed at hotel for two nights , The room was clean had a double bed and a single bed , hard dressing table chair would prefer a comfy chair as like to sew so had to put pillows and sit on bed . My main issue was the shower had my hair done day before as reason for visit attending wedding, no hand held shower head , only 5ft 1 had to climb over bath which was rather high so had to put water in bottom of bath and have a strip wash in the bath , as on my own having one knee replacement and waiting for second didn't want to get stuck in the bath and obviously for infection control issues no bath mat in bath . Light over makeup mirror not working , as in previous review coffee machine not working properly . Overall was OK as a base but thought a bit overpriced with breakfast for 2 nights £236. Hotel needs a bit of a freshen up in communal areas and Bathroom updates . Staff were friendly
