"No air con and a terrible night's sleep"
This was the worst stay I have ever had in any hotel, let alone a Premier Inn.
The rooms were so hot it was impossible to sleep.
Whilst it was a hot weekend, the outdoor temperatures cooled considerably in the evening, however when I returned to the room the temperature soared as soon as we exited the lift on the 1st floor. There was no air flow at all, and the temperature on the 1st floor corridor, and in the room was easily another 10-15 degrees warmer than outside.
It's simply unacceptable to accept paying guests into the hotel in these circumstances

"Kian was amazing"
We regularly stay and use this hotel regularly as cancer treatments are ongoing at the Lister Hospital. There always seem to be issues with Horizon parking , its machines rarely work ,is awful and their head office unhelpful, however Kian was our saviour with our last stay and parking issue . He helped us immensely and thankfully we did not miss our treatment slot . Thank you Kian

Made to feel very welcome by Tara and her team, the weather was exceptionally hot, but we knew when we booked that the hotel didn’t have air con, so we were happy that a very efficient fan was already on in our room, the curtains drawn to help keep the heat out, room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, we had an evening meal in the social restaurant and the new menu was good, the food was cooked and served promptly, very good and the meal was included with a package that includes breakfast, the breakfast buffet was excellent, Jackie and Dave did a fantastic job, Jackie made sure everything was topped up, and Dave did a fab job cooking the hot orders in the kitchen, really good value and very friendly staff who wanted to make our stay as positive as they possibly could, we would definitely stay here again!
