"AVOID IN SUMMER Insufferably hot."
The staff are lovely - really super lovely - but we had to leave early, something I’ve never done in a hotel before, because of the temperature. It was boiling hot inside the hotel despite being one of the cooler nights in a long while after a week of record-breaking heat and drought (that week we had the government alert on all our phones!). The fan they provided was a good fan, but it had nothing to go on other than circulating hot air around the room, due to the tiny opening in the window and the residual heat that the building had retained over the week. It was quite simply insufferable. In the end we drove home rather than stay and arrived back in the early hours of the morning, frazzled with exhaustion, but at least we didn’t have heat exhaustion.

Best local Premier Inn by far, fantastic helpfull and welcoming staff, in house food excellent, breakfast and evening meal really tasty and cooked well, lots of choice something for everyone, so good I keep coming back!
