    "Not the best..."
Pros: Staff were friendly. Check in easy. Room was clean. Cons: Beds were rock hard causing pain and side pain. Aircon kept turning itself off at night, so hard to sleep. Food was below average, many choices were also unavailable. Draft beer also unavailable on multiple nights.
    "great stay"
That was one of the best premier inn I have been to, the staff are very gentle and helpful, the check in was nice and easy the car park was clean and spacious, the room was very well cleaned and the breakfast was fresh.
"Disappointing cleanliness and very high price."
I’ve stayed in many Premier Inns and this time it was my second visit to this particular location. Last year on the same day it was £88 per night, this year £135! Last visit wasn’t great due to noise downstairs but it was ok. I arrived this year and checked in using the self check in. I had room 217, standard room with a sofa/pull out bed. On looking around I noticed many things that just weren’t up to scratch, stains on the wall that looked like a drink had been thrown and had dripped down, the pillowcase was on inside out, no problem so I turned it the right way around only to find it was very dirty, looked like mascara, there was dust everywhere especially on the bedside table, it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed. In the bathroom there was rotten skirting board and severe rust on the pedal of the bin. One of the sofas in the restaurant/bar area was covered in stains. I was running late so didn’t have to speak to anyone but took photos. Overnight the noise was ridiculous, a family of elephants were staying upstairs and at gone 1am lots of loud talking in the corridor. I hadn’t booked a breakfast and glad I hadn’t as it was packed and extremely noisy. I asked to speak to the manager and the duty manager Cherise looked at all the photos, was very apologetic. I said to her that I owned a cleaning company and if a member of my staff had left a room like that they wouldn’t be working again. She offered to pay my parking as it’s chargeable which was a nice gesture and gave me the phone number to call on Monday morning. I did call customer relations and spoke to a lovely lady who said Cherise had logged it all and they offered me a refund £72. I know I could’ve got more but I thought this was fair. I tried to speak to someone last year due to a bad nights sleep as my room was over the kitchen and was noisy but 5am but there was no one around and emailing after the stay doesn’t work. I’m happy with their response but I did expect better cleanliness for £135.
"Started here for Harry Potter visit"
Easy to find, plenty of parking, warm welcome, comfy rooms. We had an evening meal and I emailed ahead to book a table for 9. We were up early for breakfast before our family adventure. Would definitely use again.
    "Air-conditioned Rooms - oh yes!"
Turned the bathroom into a spa - having a bath tub was great. Loved the decor, size of the television. Bed was comfortable. Great price.
