South Mimms/Potters Bar hotel

Our stay had some positives, but several areas need improvement. The staff at check in were friendly and the process was quick and straightforward, which we appreciated. However, the room had a noticeable musty smell that made it feel less clean than expected, and both my partner and I woke up with sore throats the next morning. Opening the window only helped temporarily, as the smell returned once it was closed. The reception area also had an unpleasant toilet like odour, which was particularly off putting given its location next to the food venue, and it discouraged us from eating there. We also experienced quite a bit of noise during the night and early morning, which affected our rest. Additionally, the parking charges felt very high for the overall standard of the stay. There were aspects of the hotel that were as expected but unfortunately due to the above reasons I wouldnt be rushing to stay again anytime soon.

I had to spend a few weeks at Premier Inn and I was really impressed by the professionalism of the employees there.I would like to say thank you in particular to Karen,Rebecca,Ed,Amira,Nachez,Rachel and Mohammed.They really went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and I would like Management to recognize this in some form.They we’re brilliant and will be the reason I choose Premier Inn jn the future.

Spacious clean room. Near to A1 motorway. Staff are very helpful specially Mohammed who was very prompt in checking us in . Also he gave a brief description of the hotel which was very useful. Definitely will come back again.

Mohammad on reception was very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and tidy and we even had a little surprise decoration on the bed which was a lovely touch. Children had a lovely time too! Thank you!
